Skylar was hungry, she had made that very clear.

Luke felt awful about everything that had just happened back in that strip club, from him ignoring Skylar to stare at some stripper to the way that he made her cry because she felt that she wasn't good enough. He couldn't believe that she actually felt like that, like she simply wasn't good enough to be with him. He knew she was drunk and too emotional for her own good, but she meant what she said. And Luke felt awful.

But he was seriously regretting giving her all of that alcohol to drink, because since it was Skylar's first time drinking she got a little too tipsy too fast, and now she was stumbling around town drunkenly complaining about wanting a hot dog.

Luke understood how she was feeling, so he was now on the hunt for a hot dog.

"I'm hungry." Skylar pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. She looked absolutely adorable with Luke's sweatshirt on. She was practically swimming in it, the end covered her dress completely and the sleeves went over her hand, giving Skylar some makeshift gloves to shield her tiny hands from the cold air.

"I know, I know." Luke nodded, wrapping an arm around Skylar's shoulders again. He pulled her along with him, wanting to keep her nearby.

He was trying to find the diner that they had eaten at earlier, but Luke was having trouble finding his way, and since his phone was on 15% battery and didn't want to waste it in case of a real emergency, he wasn't going to bother Googling where this place was.

"Luke, Luke!" Skylar giggled, tugging on the sleeve of Luke's shirt. Shit, he was freezing and didn't have anything to cover his arms with since Skylar had basically stolen his sweatshirt, Luke felt like his arms were going to fall off from the cold.

"Yeah?" Luke nodded, already used to this. Skylar had been pointing out random things for the past few minutes, thinking that they were ever so exciting.

"Look at the stars!" Skylar tugged on Luke's sleeve again, making him look up at the sky. He had to admit, it looked pretty cool. Luke used to look at the stars through his bedroom window a lot, back home in Sydney, but hadn't for a really long time, at least two years. He remembered Skylar mentioning that she lived in the city, and Luke realized that she probably didn't see stars as well as he could from his house that was literally in the middle of no where.

"They're pretty, aren't they?" Luke felt himself smiling and he wrapped his arm tighter around Skylar, wanting her closer to him. "Do you know anything about stars, Sky?"

"Huh?" Skylar asked, looking at Luke with her eyebrows furrowed together.

"Like, constellations?" Luke questioned, still trying to pull Skylar along, although she seemed to be a bit distracted by all of the stars.

"Cons - constell - conste - " Skylar stammered, and Luke couldn't help but laugh, because Skylar was just so damn cute.

But in all seriousness, he had to sober her up soon, because he couldn't take much more of her drunken behavior.

"Okay, let's get you something to eat..." Luke laughed at her, and then, as if it was a miracle, they somehow ended up in front of the diner they ate in earlier that might.

"Food, yay!" Skylar squealed, clapping her hands a few times, the sleeves of Luke's sweatshirt flying all over the place.

Luke took Skylar inside the restaurant and quickly sat her down in a booth, tapping his foot on the ground as he waited for a waitress to come by their table. Skylar put her feet up, so they were in Luke's lap, and then she laughed when he grabbed her by the ankles and planted her feet back down on the floor.
