Chapter 4-Roni say it don't spray it!

I woke up to the smell of pancakes that made my stomach grumble, only one person can make such amazing pancakes. I rushed out of my room running down the stairs, towards our kitchen to find Martha piling pancakes for us.

Suddenly I was pushed out of the way as Roni ran towards Martha to hug her.

Martha laughed," So I guess you missed me girls?" she asked while hugging Roni back.

"You have no idea! I was getting bored of being with Roni all alone" I joked while I served us all some pancakes.

"OH PLEASE! Not everyone is lucky to be with God's masterpiece like me" she said while flipping her hairs.

I shook my head as I remembered Riley saying thing earlier, "You and Riley could really be best friends, he said the exact same thing to me yesterday."

"Nice offer I should just drop you like a hot potato sack and be BFF with Riley, and you know what's the plus sign to be with him?"

"What?" I queried.

"I'll at least have one hot best friend for once," she said smiling innocently.

"Oh find someone else he's my hot best friend" I mused with a sarcastic smile.

"Oh so you don't think I'm hot?" she said while modeling for me and showing off her figure.

"have you looked at yourself in the mirror, even dogs take a U-turn when they see you coming"I stated with the best poker face I could muster.

"You're so mean" she huffed.

"What? really, I never noticed" I said while pretending to think about it.

Martha just shook her head at our antiques, "This is what I was missing on the cruise."

"I missed your pancakes more"

"I missed you too"

We both looked at each other and I smiled sheepishly," I meant I missed you too."

Roni just shook her head and sat at our dining table as Martha started to serve us our breakfast.

"So how was trip Martha?" I inquired.

"Ya tell us all about your cruise lady" Roni demanded jokingly with her mouth full while spraying some of it on me.

I gave her an unamused look" Roni say it don't spray it."

"Quoting friends huh? did you watch all the seasons?" she asked with excitement return all over her face.

"No, not yet unlike you I have to work at the hospital all day" I replied with a dramatic sigh.

"Hey, I work all day too" she stated defensively.

"Only when you have clients, half of your clients are now handled by Kyle anyway" I responded casually.

She shrugged, "I pay him for what he does not to just sit in an office and look pretty."

"You got a point there," I replied while devouring my heavenly pancakes.

I moaned, "These are so good Martha, you are the best."

"OH, MY GOD! look at the time we are so gonna be late, we are not even ready yet let's go" she yelled while trying to drag me away from my pancakes.

"Leave me, alone woman, let a girl have her breakfast first. Haven't you heard the saying breakfast is the most important meal of the day and nobody would give a flying rat ass if I go late for once, Can I have some more?" I ranted as I kept munching on my pancakes.
