My little hand feels the familiar walls. The other hand holding a CD player with headphones. Little me walks along with a certain destination in mind. The guiding hand lands the door knob it has been searching for. Feeling sun on their skin they slide the door open.

Most familiar with the houses back porch they scurry over to the rocking bench they own. The best spot to listen to music. Once able and properly placed on the bench they grab the headphones and put them on. The CD player placed on the little ones lap, the music starts. Softly a voice floats to the young one.

A female's gentle singing voice is like a wave of love and comfort from a mother. It soothes the child as they rock back and forth.

I push a key. I push another not really knowing what to play or make up. I slump over and get up from the piano bench. It's rare for me to not play. Music has been the only thing I truly loved from the bottom of my heart. It could be possible that I just haven't found true inspiration yet.

I shrug off the thought as I walk towards my room. When I was younger I would always need to run a hand across the walls, but now that I'm older and grew up here, there is no longer a need for it. I memorized it all through muscle memory. Once in my room I go take a seat at my desk. I tap my fingers on my desk due to lack of a piano.

I thought I would be better after pressing a few random keys earlier, but I guess I'm still a bit nervous, which could also explain the lack of thinking of something to play. Even when I'm not nervous I tend to tap on anything. But with my quick tapping on my desk I can tell that I'm nervous or impatient. I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't at least a little excited about it. To be able to join my parents later tonight to a business dinner.

From what my parents told me, it's to be with the Jinguji corporation. So to try to calm down my nerves I feel on my desk for my MP3 and earbuds. The only songs contained in it are her songs. This was a gift from my parents when I was little. I was able to listen and know more of her songs than just the ones on the CD I owned.

Though I stored the player and kept the MP3. Soon a maid comes in and tells me that it is about time to go and asks if I would like help in getting ready. I wave her off and just wear the simple yet appropriate dress I've been wearing. Normally I never get to go to a party or dinner with my parents or one of them. It could be because I'm an embarrassment or I'll be a pain.

So I found it quite shocking to hear that my parents allowed me to join them. Especially a dinner that could be quite important. Though I enjoy the opportunity to get out of these same walls and backyard. It's a rare chance even though I do love where I grew up all the same. Once ready I grab my MP3 and round my earbuds around it, hiding it in a pocket in my dress.

I walk out of my room as the maid from earlier tells me that it is time to go. I walk with her to the front door. From there my parents grab and help me towards and into the limo. As soon as the three of us are in, right away my mom talks about the Jinguji family. She does her best to tell me everything that I may need to know though I block it out. I mean it's not like I can speak and none of them probably know sign language.

During the way me and my mother talk once she finishes. Me with my hands and her with her voice. Once we reach their estate and got out of our ride, we are invited inside and I get the help of my mother to escort me. Right after we enter through the main doors we get greeted by the head of the Jinguji Business. His name is Jinguji Seiichiro and I nod my head towards his voice and smile to greet him.

I hear him speak again introducing his little brother. I then hear him speak and instantly fall in love with his voice. He says his, Jinguji Ren. The first time this has happened, when I felt this way about a voice. Was the first time I listened to her.
