Congratulations, I Love You - Ren Jinguji x Reader

"Congratulations!" This word is the only thing I hear all day. Today marks my High School graduation and honestly, I'm both scared and happy about it. I can't wait to see what life brings me next, but also terrified of being released. I know that it will be hard at first but with the support from my family and friends, I'll get there.

Even once I walked onto the stage. All anxiety went away as I looked over to my parents and then to the person sitting next to them, Ren. I give them the biggest smile I could and went over and receive my diploma.

After graduation was over and my cap and gown was off. Everyone decided to talk a bit out front to either say final goodbyes to their favorite teachers or so on. Right away I went over to my parents and Ren once I spotted them. Once I got to them I happily gave each of them a hug. My parents both congratulate me and tell me that they have a surprise for me when we get back home.

I say thanks in advance and already my mom is welling up with tears. She tells me about how much I've grown and how much she loves me. I give her a smile and tell her that I love her back. With this we decide that it is best to go home. Despite how my mom is acting she tells me to go with Ren.

I try to ask why but she just insists through her tears. I just stand there as I see my dad take my mom away and I'm about to follow, but I feel a pair of hands go on my shoulders. I turn my head and see Ren looking down at me.

"I'll gladly carry the Lady's bag for her if she'd like," Ren says to me gesturing towards the big bag I'm carrying with all of my things in it. Reluctantly but happily I give him the bag and start heading towards his car. With the car in sight I stop and turn around. A few meters behind me is Ren surrounded by girls. I let out a sigh and roll my eyes as I go and walk back over to him.

I shove my way through all the girls then grab Ren's hand.

"I'm sorry but you'll have to excuse us. He doesn't have time for photos or autographs, or whatever you want. We have someplace to be and I bet all of you girls have somewhere to be as well. So again, excuse us," I say a bit irritated and harshly. I move both of us out and start heading towards the car again.

This time we arrive there without any disturbances. I get into the passenger seat and Ren puts my bag in the backseat then gets in the driver's side. I watch him as he starts the car which leads to him looking at me and giving me a wink before he pulls the car out. I turn my head and look out the window in a sour mood. Not soon later he speaks up.

"Why is the Lady so mad? They were just fans," I hear him say. I turn and look over to him.

"Well, they were wasting our time. I don't want to wait by your car for over an hour or so just so you can talk to them. Also, you really should've worn a disguise. You and your group just debuted so of course you'll get lots of attention," I say to him letting my sour attitude evaporate. I can't really stay mad at him for long and of course he would be popular as an idol.

Yet even before that he was still always surrounded by girls. We could never hang out without a few girls looking or talking to him. I always wanted alone time for just us. Even now I want it more than ever, so I turned a bit more mean than I should've been.

"Alright then," Ren says with a light hearted sigh making me turn my head over to him.

"I'll try to be more careful next time, but I didn't want to wear a disguise to your graduation," Ren says to me making me ask why.

"If I did then you wouldn't notice me next to your parents. Then you wouldn't of smiled as brightly as you did on stage," Ren says to me giving me a glance with a smirk. At first I am wordless as I didn't realize that he did it just for me to make me happy. So instead I just face out the window again and mumble a thanks. A few moments after that Ren speaks again.
