Wrong Love

chapter 18

We looked around and noticed something. “where is ashton?” calum said looking around. He was closer to Brittney then anyone besides crystal and lexi of course. We looked outside and found him swinging in the hammock crying. It was hard to make ash cry and besides crystal and lexi I think he was taking the hardest. It was dark by now and we told him he should get some rest. We all went up to our rooms and went to sleep. A few more days went by and it consisted of trying to get Brittney to remember us and nothing worked. A week passed by and she still didn’t have her memory back. What if it never came back? A couple of weeks later Brittney came downstairs and still didn’t remember anything. “that’s it. Im taking her to the doctor.” I said as I grabbed her hand and took her to the car. She got in and I drove her to the hospital. When we got there we asked the doctor and nurse what was going on. “you said give her a couple days well its been a couple weeks. When is she gonna get her memory back?” I asked and the doctor looked at Brittney and said, “you still cant remember?” she shook her head and the doctor took her into the testing room. “we better do a scan to see what’s going on.” The doctor said hooking her up to a machine. About 40 minutes went by and we finally got results. “well it looks like there is still some of the medicine still stuck in your blood stream. I don’t know how that’s possible but drink plenty of water and take one of these pills every day in the morning.” The doctor said giving her a container of pills. She nodded and walked out to the car. “so that will help her memory come back right?” I asked and the doctor nodded and said, “yes it should and if it doesn’t help in about 3 days come back.” I nodded and went to the car and got in. “the doctor said..” Her lips meeting mine cut me off. She kissed me and then pulled away. “I’m sorry I just felt like I should do that. I had a dream about you the other night and we were in love and I just thought I should do that. I’m sorry.” I looked at her and something told me to kiss her again. “its ok Brittney but your basically dating luke.” I started the car and drove home. When we got there she took one of pills and sat on the couch. I sat next to her and played on my phone and she grabbed my hand. I looked at her and she smiled and kissed me again. I kissed her back and soon I felt hands on my shoulders pulling me away. “dude why are you kissing her.” Luke said pulling me away from Brittney. “dude she kissed me I swear.” I said as liam and zayn backed me up. Luke nodded and glared at me and then walked to the back yard. Ashton was still up in his room and wouldn’t come down. I went upstairs and found him asleep holding a picture of him and Brittney at the park.  It was taken a couple of weeks ago before the incident. She was laying on the grass half sitting up with him behind her his head on her shoulder. They both had there tongues sticking out and it was a cute picture actually. I sighed and went back downstairs and laid on the couch. Brittney was playing video games with liam and zayn and I fell asleep. I woke up and it was 10 p.m. everyone was outside. I walked outside and they were talking and sitting around the fire. “well good morning sleeping beauty.” Calum said and I laughed. We all sat outside and talked for hours and then finally went to bed.
