chapter 19

Brittney’s P.O.V. 

I went to sleep and everything just came flooding back to me I thought I was dreaming but I wasn’t. my memory finally came back and I remembered everything. I woke up the next morning and was so happy my memory came back. I jumped out of bed and ran out of the room and downstairs. Everyone accept ashton and zayn and lexi and crystal were awake. I found everyone else outside and I ran to luke and hugged him tight. “hey what’s going on?” he said giggling and I looked at him and kissed him. “I remember you.” I said after the kiss was over. “I remember everything.” I said happily and everyone hugged me. “oh my god im so glad it finally came back.” Liam said and everyone agreed. “you better go wake ash and tell him. He took it the hardest and he’s been depressed ever since you said you didn’t remember him.” Mike said. I nodded and ran to his room. I opened the door and stood at the end of his bed. “1…2…”  I softly said and a muffled voice said, “don’t do it Brittney.” And then he shot up out of bed and said, “wait how do you know you jump on my bed like that?” I looked at him and yelled, “THREE!!” and jumped. I landed on him and his arms wrapped around me in a hug and he hugged me tight. “oh my god Brittney im so glad you remember I thought you would never remember me. I was so scared and I actually cried.” He said hugging me close and I closed my eyes and hugged him even tighter. “I’m on the verge of crying babe.” I said holding back tears. He lifted me up and looked at me, “no don’t cry sweet heart. The only thing that matters is you remember now.” He said and smiled and I smiled back and hugged him. I was so happy to be in the arms of my best friend again. I remembered everything. Walking out of the house, seeing Eleanor and that man choking me, being unconscious but seeing everything. I remembered it all. I ran to lexi’s room and pounced on her and crystal. “wake up girls!” I screamed and they woke up and said, “why are you waking us up so early?” lexi said even though it was almost noon. “I just thought id let my sisters know I love them and remember them.” they jumped and hugged me tight and said, “I’m so glad you remember. I thought you would never remember us.” Crystal said. “how could I forget my sisters.” I said hugging back. We all walked down stairs and waited for zayn to wake up. About an hour later he walked into the living room. “hey buddy.” I said walking up to him and doing our secret handshake. “hey how do you know that?” he said excitedly. “my memory came back!” I said happily and he hugged me and spun me around. “that’s great babe.” He said putting me back down. I smiled and remembered my studio. I hardly went onto the 3rd floor cause I didn’t really have a reason. I remembered the movie theater room was up there. My dad had always heard me singing or creating music or something so he had a studio built for me. It was a professional recording studio where I could DJ, sing, play guitar, play piano, and just about anything. “I wanna show you guys something.” I said walking everyone upstairs to the 3rd floor. I walked them into the theater room first. “why haven’t you ever showed us this before?” calum said looking around with wide eyes. “I don’t know I just kinda forgot that it was up here.” I said and then walked them to my studio. “behind this door is my favorite room in the entire house. I just haven’t been in the mood lately to come in here. The last thing I recorded in here was me and scott singing a duet.” I said opening the door to my studio. Everyone’s mouth’s dropped and eyes widened. “oh…my…god.” They all said walking around looking at everything. “this is sick.” Zayn said looking at my spin mash board for DJ’ing. I smiled and put on the head phones and turned on my board. I started playing music and messing around with it. Everyone looked at me with wide eyes. I stopped the music and asked, “what’s wrong?” luke came up to me and said, “I didn’t know I was dating a model and a DJ. Its kind of hot that you know how to do all of this.” I blushed and zayn said, “you’ll have to let me jam out in here sometime.” I laughed and nodded. “I come in here when I’m upset or thinking or just wanna get away from something.” I said sitting down and picking up a guitar. “you know how to play?” niall asked sitting next to me. “no but I really wanna learn.” I said and looked at him. He looked at me and smiled and said, “I can teach you if you want.” He smiled and I smiled back. “yeah that would be awesome.” I said smiling still. He was smiling at me and there was an awkward silence and he was staring at me awkwardly. I looked away and cleared my throat and stood. I walked over to my piano and started to play little things. “hey I know that song.” Liam said laughing and I laughed to. I got up and walked them into another room. It was the game room with a huge TV and an x-box 360 and a ps3 and 4 and games everywhere. “yeah I’m a huge gamer girl. Go ahead make fun of me I am a nerd its ok.” I said laughing and they all ran in and said, “no it’s ok.” Luke came up to me and said, “wow so you’re a model a DJ and a gamer girl? Could you get anymore perfect?” I blushed and looked down and sat on the beanbag. I sighed and grabbed a controller. “anyone wanna play call of duty with me?” I asked and liam and zayn ran to get the other controllers. “there is one more controller if anyone else wants to play.” Luke came forward and grabbed it. We got into the game and I had the most kills. “dang it Brittney I cant believe you beat me.” Zayn said throwing the controller onto the chair. I smiled and shrugged. We went back downstairs and I looked outside and it was dark. I smiled and ran upstairs and changed into my swimsuit and ran back downstairs. “night swimming anyone?” I said and everyone nodded and ran upstairs to change. I walked outside and put my feet in the water and waited for everyone to come out. “Brittney?” I heard and turned to see my neighbor Connor. “Connor?  What are you doing?” I said getting up and helping him over the fence. “I just came to say hey.” He said hugging me. He looked me up and down and said, “nice bathing suit.” And winked. I looked down I was wearing a black Hollister bikini with the white Hollister birds on it. “I have a boyfriend.” I said and he looked down and said, “oh who is he?” I looked behind me and didn’t see any of the guys or lexi or crystal. “its Luke hemmings from 5 seconds of summer.” I said and he looked at me. “oh yeah I heard about that I saw a lot pictures online but I thought they were fake. Is he here?” he said looking at my house. I nodded and was about to say yes when luke and everyone else walked out and came to me. “who is this?” luke asked getting in front of me. “this is my neighbor Connor. He’s a good friend of mine and he’s a famous YouTuber.” I said pulling luke back beside me. I hugged Connor and he said, “well I just came to say hey and I better get back before my mom gets mad.” He hugged me again and then climbed back over the fence. We all got into the pool after that and swam around playing chicken and marco pulo and other games. Then we all decided to get into the hot tub. We were in the hot tub for about 15 minutes and then I decided to get out. I went to my room and changed into my pajamas. I put on black shorts that had Hollister written on them and then my white Hollister tank top. I went outside and everyone was in the living room watching a movie. I grabbed my Hollister sweatshirt from the hook and put it on. I went outside and laid in the hammock. I looked up at the stars as mike came out and laid on top of me. “hey what are you doing?” he asked laughing. I laughed and said, “looking at the stars and being laid on by a weirdo.” He laughed and laid next to me and laid his head on my shoulder. “can I lay with you?” he gave me the puppy eyes and laughed. “of course you can why would I say no?” I said smiling at him and he shrugged. We laid out there for hours talking and laughing and just getting to know each other even better.
