Ash had seemed uncomfortable when Gary was near him. Did Gary do something that hurt ash.?

I tried asking ash about how they knew each other while walking back to the hospital. But he would just change the topic or ignore me.

"Are you sure you don't know what Gary was taking about? Or who Lillian was?"

"So... why did they want us to go back to the hospital?" He quickly said changing the topic. I'm probably bugging him aren't I?

I wished I would have stopped talking about this earlier. He shouldn't have to tell me something he doesn't want to.

"They don't actually need us back at the hospital, y- I mean I felt uncomfortable. I really do wish I would've spent more time talking to you."

Ash smiled, but that smile soon disappeared as a frown was replaced on his face. "I want to tell you what happened, but I don't think I'm ready yet."

I hugged him, "don't worry you don't have to tell me in till you're ready. In fact if you don't want to not tell me at all I understand."

He started to cry so I hugged him, "I will away stay by your side."

"Why are you so nice to me, I'm not good enough to deserve you." I laughed at his comment. It's the other way around I don't deserve him.

"And you don't think that you're nice to me? You have help me throughout all of my trials. You are the best person I've ever meet. Don't you dare think that you're lower then someone."

He started to sob even more whispering something to himself.

It sounded like he was repeating "her". I didn't know what he was talking about, so ignored it letting him sob on my shoulder.

After a while ash started to clam down.

"So I'm guess that subways wasn't a date?" Ash said probably trying to lighten the mood.

"No why would we go on a date-" ash looked at the ground looking like he was going to cry again. "With a third wheel tagging along," Ash chucked a bit.

"Dang girl you really scared me there." I laughed at his comment, why wouldn't I go on a date with the guy I love?

Grabbing my hand ash snapped me back to reality. "Serena would you like to accompany me to go get food at 6:30." He said in a formal voice.

A thought popped in my head, Took him long enough.
In even though I've been waiting for this day I still felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. I've never been on a date before. I couldn't stop smiling.

"I would love to go with you," I relied trying to stay clam. "Yes! I mean sweet it's a date then."
