Serena's Pov

"I'll make ash pay for getting my dad thrown in prison, through you," I need to try and escape I ran from the opening on my right turning the corner the other male was at my heels just need to try and search for an exit. A smile spread across my face as I spotted a door, pushing the door open I felt my hair getting yanked.

 "YOU REALLY THOUGHT YOU COULD ESCAPE," I shuddered digging my nails into Gary's hand.  Letting out a shriek he let go of my hair giving me a chance to free myself, "I'M DOING THAT RIGHT NOW, IDIOT." again I started to run looking for places to hide as I tried to blend into a crowd.

stopping at a store I walked into it searching for a bathroom scanned the room, bingo.! Wait shouldn't I keep moving? That would make it harder to get to me. I push some boxes of toilet paper up to the high, but small window.

 I slid through it happy to see a dumpster. Maybe that will break fall, I won't break a bone after all. Maybe. "SERENA," Gary's voice was heard from the bathroom as it made its way to my ears. How could they have found me so fast, jumping out of the trash I ran. Where could I go that they wouldn't find me.?

I made my way back to where more people were, Ash he seemed uncomfortable around Gary yet I didn't do anything about it. I let him sleep in my living room on my couch, my room was right there, next to it. I fell for his stupid act. 

Ash's Pov

"Serena..." the old lady bent over, "what was that dear I couldn't hear you.?" I shook my head as I watch the honey blonde girl run towards me. Why did she follow me after I said all those awful things to her.? If I was her I would hate me.

She looked scared as she searched the crowd when she saw me she pushed through the crowds to get to me. "ASH," she shouted wrapping her arms around me, "I.. I'm s..so  so..o sorry," Was she crying?. "Serena are you ok, what happened?" I grabbed her chin so I could look at her face.

she was cheeks were stained with tear and her eyes were red and puffy. Having a feeling it was about Gary I spoke after a while of silence, "I shouldn't have run off, I should have stayed by your side. Was it Gary?" She hesitated before answering, "yes."

Wrapping in my arms around her I pulled her into a hug, anger rose how could people be so evil, "I'm here I'll protect you no matter what the cost." There was a gasp from beside us, "What's going on, are you, ok young lady," I totally forgot that lady was still there. Serena was talking to the lady as I kept my focus of the brown haired boy who was smiling at me.
