chapter 7

Leah's pov

She just run away without saying any word. I said my mom's name and then she run away. My own therapist ran away from me. Demi ran away from me without saying anything, without looking at me. Guess I all fucked it up again and now that the social worker is gone too, I feel lonely. More lonely than every before and I can tell you that's a lot.

'The razor are my only friend'

But if you are in the hospital it's hard to get them but as an experienced self-harmer you would do anything to have them and that's what I am. An experienced self-harmer who has razors with her all the time, even in the hospital. No, I'm not gonna tell you were I hide them, It's my little secret. I get my razor and I roll my sleeves up. I cut and cut until everything goes black.

Demi's pov

I stop the car by my house and realised what I just did. I left her alone. I ran away from her without saying anything. I just did it. I ran away from Leah.  I ran away from my little niece.

Yes you read it good. My little niece, not my sister like some of you thought. My mom is not her mom, so isn't Maddie. She is way too young to be Leah's mom, she is younger than Leah herself. And you all think about my sister Dallas but she isn't Leah's mom. Have you guys ever heard about Amber Lovato? Amber Lovato is my sister. My older half sister. My dad had her before he and my mom were in a relationship. I didn't knew that Amber existed till 2011. Tha'st when we first met and I still have some contact with her, she is my sister just like Dallas and Madison. I knew Amber had a horrible past and that her husband was abusive and she walked away from him. I knew his name was Eric but that she had a daughter or actually two daughters, a twin. I never ever knew that.

A soft knock on the window of my door makes me realise that I am still in my car. The person who knocked opens the door for me.

"Hermosa, where have you been? Is everything okay, you like a mes baby." 

I immediatly get out of the car and hug Wilmer.

"I was in the hospital for Leah, remember? It was kinda hard you know"

He nods "Aww babe, you know I have to go now but we will talk about it when I am back is that okay?"

I nod and he kiss my forehead "Stay strong and know that I love you, beautiful"

"I love you too ,Willy, I love you too"

He walks away and I walk into the house. I sit on the bank and massage my forehead. There's only one right thing to do right  now and I am gonna do it. I pick up my phone and call Amber.

"Dems, it's been a while! How are you doing?" Amber yells excitedly as soon as she picks up her phone.

"Amber, Can you please come over?"

"Demi is there something wrong?"

"It's just... I can't tell you over the phone"

"Be there in ten Dems, stay strong"

And if she says ten, she really means ten because on the second she is there ten minutes later. She immediatly runs to me and hugs me.

"You want some coffee?" I ask and she nods. I get some coffee for the both of us and set the mugs on the table in front of her. I look right into Ambers eyes and that's when I notice. I notice those green eyes which I immediately recognise as the green eyes Leah has but there is more in Amber's eyes. There's a lot of pain and an untold story and it is time for her to let that all go. It is time to tell her story and I guess I am the right person to tell it too.

I take a deep breathe and ask "Amber, I don't know I lot about your past. I know you probably don't want to talk about it but it is time to let it all go. I know you had a husband called Eric but was there more, sweetie? Did you maybe had two daughters, a twin?"

Ambers jaw drops and her eyes grow big. She starts shaking andI want to calm her down but the phone interrupts me.

I pick up the phone and listen to what the one on the otherside of the line has to tell me.

Oh hell no. This not really happening.

So we all know who Leah's mom is now and yes Amber Lovato is a real person. I know she is Demi's older half sister and that's all I know about her. The things with Leah are all fiction. So there is Dilmer in this but there won't be much about them. What do you think that happened to Leah when everything went black? What do you think that's told Demi on the phone?
