I'm surprised she came tonight. It was movie night and she actually came. I think she's actually living up to what she said. It's been a few weeks since she got back together with Derek. I prefer to call him Douche since it fits him better.

She say on my bed with my blue comforter up to her chin. It was a little chilly I guess. It's almost winter but the little leaves are just starting to fall.

"You cold?"

"Yeah, Derek and I went swimming yesterday."

"In this weather?" It's like he wanted her to get sick. She nodded and sneezed. I touched her forehead then her cheeks and they came back with the same result. Warmer than my own.

"Wait here, okay?" She nodded and I headed down the stairs.

Mom and dad were in the kitchen eating. "Hey honey, here for the popcorn?" Mom asked, I shook my head. I rummaged through the cabinets looking for the pills for a the fever.

"What are you looking for?" Mom asked moving me aside. "Nads sick."

"Fever?" She asked and grabbed a bottle of pills. I nodded my head and she handed them to me.

"Only two okay?"she said talking about the capsules.

I ran back up to her and she was sprawled out on my bed. He head was against my mattress.

"Hey, I got medicine." I whispered softly and she sat up. When she did her head swayed side-to-side. I placed my hands on her shoulders to steady her. She still had her eyes closed shut. I placed the capsules in her hand that was tiny compared to mine.

She looked at them, groaned and shook her head.

"It'll make you feel better I promise." She looked at me and then slowly swallowed the capsules. I made her lie down. I lied down next to her. I turned on the TV so we could still watch the movie. She wrapped her arms around me right as I settled. She laid her head on my chest and stared at the TV. I wrapped my arms around her stomach and waited for the movie to start.

She snuggled closer to me and one of her hand ended up on my chest.

This wasn't unusual, we always watched movies like this; all wrapped in each other's arms not wanting to let go. At least I didn't want to let go.
