Chapter 7

this is really short and I know I said this chap was going to be really interesting but I decided to go in another direction in order to really get this story going. 

The next chap will be a little long but not too long because I seriously can't write long chapters. I'll post it later on tonight :D

We walked out of the building and the cold air instantly hit me causing me to shiver dangerously. It was much colder then before and I couldn't wait to snuggle under my nice warm comforters.

Samuel quickly took off his jacket and put it around  my shoulders. He then got closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. I felt warmer and was grateful for him.

"T-thank y-you," I said shivering lightly. He was such a gentlemen. 

"Can't have my date freeze to death now," he said smiling down at me. "Why didn't you bring a jacket?"

"I-I D-don't k-k-know," I said still shivering. "I d-didn't know i-it was g-g-gonna be this c-cold." He laughed. 

"Its n-not f-funny," I said hitting him on his arm.

"Stop talking," he said. "Before your teeth fall out." Haha very funny. I'll make a note to get him back for that later on.  We walked a little faster because I began to shake uncontrollably even though I had his jacket and arm around me. It still wasn't helping. I needed heat.

We walked for a bit until we made it inside Attys Housing. The warm heat hit me and I the shivers slowly left my body. 

"Better?" He asked. "Much," I said smiling up at him. We walked to the elevator and he pushed the button. We waited  for awhile until it finally came. 

When it opened Zach and the girl he was making out with at the party came out of the elevator. He looked at Samuel then me and smirked when he saw the look of disgust on my face. 

The girl he was with looked at me and rolled her eyes. Whats her problem? Samuel grabbed my hand and we went in the elevator not saying a word to Zach or his friend. The door closed and Samuel turned to face me.

"Something going on between you and Zach?" he questioned me. 

"No," I answered quickly; maybe too fast. "Why would you think that."

"I guess because of the way you too where staring at each other," he said putting his hands in his pockets as the elevator began to move up.

"I gave him a dance earlier not knowing it was him and I felt gross about it because of the kind of person I heard he is. That's it. Nothing else," I lied. Well it wasn't a lie, I just didn't tell him about the situation that occured this morning. He didn't need to know. 

He didn't say anything. We stood in silence for a few seconds and the elevator door opened. We walked to my room and stood outside my door. 

It was awkward just standing there because no one said anything.

"Thanks for being my date even though it was against your will," I said breaking the silence as I handed him his jacket. 

"I had fun," he said taking it from me. "Besides it wasn't all Corrie. I've been watching you for awhile wanting to ask you on a date and well when Corrie suggested... no wait, demanded I take you as my date, I saw an opportunity and I just had to take it."
