This is a continuation to Please Remember Us by aiigreanleaf. This book is probably the best Jikook fanfiction I have seen by far, I highly recommend this story. Also, this continuation will not make sense if you have not read the story. I promise, you will not regret it.

Jimin nodded, smiling back at her a little. He still didn't remember their past together, but he felt so comfortable around this petite, caring woman. It was no wonder they had bonded and became best friends together. Despite his loss of their past history, at that moment he felt so grateful that she was here with him and listening to his deepest fears."

"Hyunjin?"

"Yes?" She answered gently, her eyes never leaving her friend's lighter ones.

"Thank you for being here. You really are a good friend."

She smiled a little more broadly as her own eyes misted up now. She was confident that no matter what happened going forward, they would always be best friends somehow. "Anytime, Jiminie. That's what best friends are for."

"I," Jimin paused, uncomfortable about asking such a personal question. "Can you tell me more about Jungkook? About us?"

She smiled softly before beginning, "you want to know more about your relationship together?" Jimin nodded slightly, cheeks tinted pink at his embarrassment. "Ah, where do I even beginning? The love you and Jungkook felt for each other was, still feel for each other." She paused as she noted the discomfort on her best friend's face at her correction. "I know you feel guilty for not being able to reciprocate his love and I know you are scared you never will be able to. However, I believe a love like the one you had can never die. It's still in you." She gestured towards his chest, more specifically his heart.

"I don't know," he said, self-consciously crossing his arms over his chest.

"Please, Jiminie, just for a moment, for me, for Jungkook, for your family, for your friends but, most importantly, for yourself, believe that your memory will return, even if it's just for a second." Hyunjin pleaded with him, impatience and desperation creeping into her voice. "I can see your inner turmoil, it hurts to see you, so happy, so kind, so loving, to be beating yourself up constantly over something you can't control. No one is blaming you and certainly not Jungkook."

She cautiously took Jimin's small hands in her own before continuing. "I could convince you of things I know you don't believe. I could promise you things I don't even believe in my heart. I could say words to attempt to comfort you only in vain. I could do all these things until I'm blue in the face but it is you who needs to believe the words that come out of my mouth. Of the events that you so badly wish will happen. Of the love you and Jungkook once shared. Of the belief that the 22 years of memories you lost will return. We can't do any of these things unless you believe in yourself and the impossible. I know you can, I know you have it in you. You have never failed to impress anyone lucky enough to cross paths with you with your tenacity, perseverance, conviction and innate ability to love." She paused, whether to breathe or gather her thoughts he didn't know. "So please, Jimin," she whispered.
