The next couple of days were hell for Jimin and Jungkook, equally. Jungkook spent most of his days sulking in his room. Everytime he stepped out, he would be berated by one of the other members; it would stop only when he would run away to seek sanctuary in his room once again. Jimin spent most of his days staring out the pitiful excuse for a window in his hospital room, allowing the tears to fall when he thought no one was watching.
Finally, the day had come. Jimin stood up, stretching his sore muscles. Because his back was facing the door, he didn't see Taehyung sneak in holding a wrapped package behind his back. He squeaked in surprise as Tae slipped his hands over his eyes after placing the package on the bed.
"Guess who?" Jimin knew immediately who was behind him and relaxed into his touch.
"Tae?" He turned around in Taehyung's grip, flashing him a half hearted smile.
"Minie! I brought you something." Tae laughed as he saw Jimin's eyes light up at the mention of a gift.
"What is it? What is it?" He turned around, finally noticing the light pink box on the bed. "Is this for me?" Tae nodded in response, Jimin eagerly ripping off the paper soon after. "Chocolate? Thank you, really I mean it."
"Anything for you." He said before pulling the shorter into a hug.
"Why didn't you visit me? It was so lonely without you."
"Aw, I'm sorry. I didn't know you wanted me to visit."
"Of course I wanted you to visit, you're my best friend!" Tae's heart swelled at his sweet words.
"Um, Jimin, there's someone else who wants to talk to you. I tried to stop him from coming but..." His voice trailed off. Jimin's smile immediately fell off his face, his gaze hardening as he realized just who was waiting to see him.
"I don't want to see him."
"Well, tough shit." Jungkook unceremoniously walked into the small room, "I'm here anyway. Tae, you can leave now." He took his hand and made a shooing motion. Jimin opened his mouth the protest but Taehyung was already being shoved out of the room.
"What's your problem?" Jimin shouted, "why are you suddenly so cruel? Is it something I did?"
"Do you ever learn to shut up?" Jungkook spat, rolling his eyes. "I don't know how I ever tolerated you." Jimin's jaw dropped.
"Kookie," he started softly.
"No, you don't get to call me that."
"Kookie, I'm sorry, but please tell me what I did. What's going on? Please, I'm trying to understand." Tears came to his eyes as he pleaded with the man he once loved so deeply.
Jungkook growled before harshly grabbing Jimin's shoulders and slamming him into the wall behind him. "Do you have a hearing problem? I told you not to call me that." Jimin, winded from impact, struggled to reply. "What? Cat got your tongue?" Jungkook taunted leaning closer to his face, cruelly laughing at Jimin struggling to breathe.
Jimin took the initiative to close the gap and gently placed his lips onto the younger's. "Jungkook, stop." He pleaded as he pulled away. "Talk to me, you've never been like this before."
"Well, then you clearly don't know me very well." Without warning, Jungkook's fist connected with Jimin's face snapping it to the side. An explosion of pain spread across his jaw. "And that was for kissing me." Jimin stared incredulously at him, his hand cradling the sore spot on his jaw. His eyes held so much pain causing something inside Jungkook to suddenly snap. He crumpled toward the floor, a wailing cry leaving his lips.
"Jungkook? Jungkook, what's going on?" Jimin cautiously knelt beside the sobbing boy in front of him. Cupping the younger's face, he forced the latter to look at him.
"I'm so sorry. Hyung, I don't understand what's wrong with me." Jimin blinked. Did he just apologize?
"Come, sit." He patted the edge of the bed, leading the wobbling boy towards it. "Now, tell me what's wrong."
"How can you forgive me so easily, I've been so awful to you. You, an absolute angel. What have I done?"
Jimin sighed, "because, I still love you."
"You do?" He asked hopefully, "even after the horrible things I said to you, the things I said about you?"
"Yes, even after that." Jimin shrugged helplessly, "I don't know either."
"Why did I say those things to you? I don't hate you, nor do I find you annoying. Actually," he snorted softly. "I miss you following me around. I'm sorry, you never deserved to hear those things."
"Why did you say them if you didn't mean them?"
"I don't know, I just haven't been feeling like myself. My head hurts constantly and I've blacked out a couple times in the past week."
"What?" Jimin asks alarmed, "why didn't you tell us." Now it's Jungkook's turn to shrug helplessly.
He suddenly pressed his hand against his forehead as a stabbing pain reverberated in his skull, ricocheting around like a ping pong ball. "Hey, Hyung, I don't feel good." He said before passing out in Jimin's arms.

When Jungkook came to, he came face-to-face with six concerned faces, each framed by a varying colored bowl cut (AN: Sorry, I had to).
"Jungkook, tell the doctor what you told me." Jimin said, approaching the bed to take the younger's hand. Jungkook turned towards the man clad in a white lab coat-looking-thing, recounting the severe headaches and personality changes he had been experiencing over the past couple of weeks, Jimin filling in the missing details when necessary.
The doctor sighed, "I think I know what he might be suffering from but I'll need to do a MRI to confirm."
"What?" Jimin pressed, "what's wrong?"
"Mr. Jeon is most likely suffering from a malignant brain tumour."
