At first, when Naruto heard Sasuke had returned home, he felt like jumping out the window. A lump had formed in his throat as his nerves grew.

But as the footsteps grew closer he knew he couldn't just dissapere. He missed him so much and he had so much to tell him.

He watched the door, from his cross legged spot on the bed, the tears in his eyes causing his vision to blur, but when he heard the door handle turn and the door creek open, excitement grew and his head fell to his hands

"N-Naruto?" He heard, and then he felt himself crash backwards onto the bed and the sobs escaped their throats.

"Sasuke." He whispered, hugging the boy tightly, "I missed you so much Sasuke." He cried, hugging the boy as tight as he could.

But then Sasuke pulled away, no he ripped himself out of Naruto's arms. Tears streaming down his face.

"You stoped writing to me." He said sternly, his gaze fall to his knees as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"I-I stoped getting anything back. I thought you didn't need me anymore."

Sasuke's eyes widened and his head snapped to the blonde. "I will always need you. I can't do this alone anymore." His eyes glossed over ad water dropped down his cheek. His hand reached over to cress Naruto's cheek.

Naruto slowly pulled his hand off. "It's so sudden. I just, I can't believe your here." He muttered, tracing patterns on the back of Sasuke's hand, "There is so much to tell you."

"Naruto. I have alot to tell you as well. I'm so happy your here." He whispered, placing his forehead on Naruto's and looking him in the eyes. "Things have been really difficult without you."

"I'm sorry I left." Naruto had closed his eyes and enjoyed spending this moment with Sasuke.

"I'm sorry I never wrote back."

Sakura had gone over to Sasuke's house to give him a present that she had forgotten. It was just a charm bracelet with the initials of her name.

Ino and Sai where by her side and waited for her at the gate.

She had a big smile on her face as she nocked the door, hearing the laughter and the joy. She assumed Sasuke and Itachi where spending time together.

But when the door opened to reveal Itachi with a red haired woman behind him, her smile faltered she had assumed Sasuke wasn't in.

"Sakura?" Itachi said confused, "What's up?"

"I-is Sasuke here?" She forced a smile on her face, she could tell there was something wrong or someone was here.

"Uh yeah, Mina could you fetch Sasuke please?" Mina bowed before running to Sasuke's room, when she opened the door, she almost lost it.

"Sasuke!" She yelled, grabbing him by the ear and pulling him out the bedroom. Leaving Naruto completely confused.

"S-Sakura?" He forced a smiled, and pulled her in the door after seeing Sai and Ino glaring from the gate.

"I bought you this but I forgot to give you it." She handed him a small box, wrapped in purple paper, Itachi and Mina occasionally piping their heads past the door to look at the pair. "Why is Mina here?"

"She came to see Itachi about something, she was here when I got back." He shrugged, pulling open the paper to find out what's inside.

"Oh." Was all she could form, unable to talk with the thick tension in the air. "There's a fair this Friday, wanna go with me?" She asked, her hand closing the box quickly before he could see.

"Uh, I can't. I have something on then." He scrached his head, "Can I open it?" Sakura nodded with a blush and removed her hand from the box.

Naruto was sat on his bed still, listening to the conversation. The unveiling of the present. Sasuke refusing it.

But in all that, Naruto couldn't move off the bed, he just sat on his phone, scrolling through whatever social media site wasn't boring.

"Sakura I can't!" The roar made Naruto drop his phone and fall from the bed with a loud thump. And then he heard footsteps. He didn't dare move from his spot on the floor, he mearly turned so he was lying on his back.

"Oh. This is why you can't." He heard the whisper from the door, he seen the shocked looks, yet he didn't move, his phone was somewhere out of site.

"Sakura, don't." Sasuke growled, his low voice sending chills through Naruto. "You should go." Naruto could hear the tears fall to the floor as Sasuke and Mina walked Sakura out the house, box in hand.

"Saku! What took you so long? Did he like it?" Ino didn't see the look on Sakura's face, or the box in her hand. Ino couldn't hear the sniffs until Sakura had made it to the gate. "What happened?" Ino gasped seeing her friends red face and tear stained cheeks.

"Naruto's back."
