"I'm only here for a month, then I'm traveling with my Grandpa." Naruto spoke, to cut the tension between the boys.
Sasuke had come over that night with movies and snacks, it was supposed to be a good night, and it was, until Sasuke had noticed Naruto had barely anything with him.
"A month?" He questioned, staring ahead of him, "Just one?"
"Well yeah. We're going to travel the world." Naruto smiled sadly at his hands, "It's supposed to be fun."
"I hope it is."
"Me too."
And then silence filled the room again, the tension was so think not even a sword would cut it. The boys didn't know what to say. Naruto didn't know he'd get so caught up that he'd forget to mention it.
"I'm sorry I didn't say sooner."
"It's okay."
"But it's not."
"Naruto, it's fine."
"Sasuke, it's not."
"I'm telling you, it's fine."
"It's not."
"It is."
"Sasuke, I have 3 weeks and 2 days left and I want to pack this month full of fun."
"And how do you plan on doing that?"
"Well for starters, we could go get dumplings."
"Why dumplings?"
"Because they're your favourites."
Sasuke gave Naruto a shocked look, like he expected him to have forgotten, Naruto only smiled and took Sasuke out for his favourite food.
