It was deffenetly early morning when Sasuke was awoken by Itachi. The sun hadn't even risen.
Sasuke was forced into a shower and into his clothes. He was force fed and dragged to the couch. By the time he was able to relax, the sun was shining and the tv had finally began to air the good shows.
But Itachi had other things for Sasuke to do before he left to talk to Sakura.
"Sasuke. We're going to have a heart to heart. Your going to tell me everything and I mean everything. I want to know everything that you've felt for all these years." Itachi stood in front of him, his long jumper covered by a pink apron that was patterned with "kiss the chef", his rubber gloved hand was pointing a wooden spoon at Sasuke and gave him a very stern look. Sasuke could not take him seriously.
"Itachi. I can't talk to you when your dressed like that." Sasuke laughed, pointing at the older boy. The pair felt happy, they felt stress free and relieved.
They hadn't laughed like that in so long, it was almost like things had never changed.
"But serious now Sasuke. I'm going to finish the dishes." He turned and headed back to the kitchen leaving Sasuke to think about everything he wanted to say to his brother.

Naruto had just woken from his sleep, the time was 10am. He lazily stood from his bed and walked out of his room.He had completely forgotten that he was no longer in Suna. His wide eyes stared around the hall of the home.
Dancing in front of his eyes, the images of his parents chasing him down the hall, he watched his younger self run nakedly down the hall laughing. His mother laughing as she chased him, yelling for him to stop running. At the other end of the hall, stood his father, yelling for Naruto to quickly jump into his arms.
"Naruto? Are you okay?" Mina had nocked him from his thoughts, she reached up and whipped his tears. He hadn't noticed he was crying.
"Yeah. I'm fine." He whipped the stains from his cheek and headed for a shower. His thoughts running wild. He kept remembering his parents. This house was a reminder of the happiness they all shared.
"Naruto! Your gonna be late for school!"
His mother's voice was always soothing. He could always remeber how sweet she was. How angry she could get. He smiled to himself, no one could compare to the beauty of her.
His mother was so beautiful."Not again Naruto! Why do you enjoy making me look silly?"
He always remebered making his father mad. Always painting on face on the Hokage Mountain. He loved hearing his dad give in and offer to buy him ramen. He was always told he was the double of his father. The strange whisker like birth marks is the only way you could tell them apart. They where best friends. No one would ever be as close as his father was.
Naruto missed them. He missed his family. He loved Jiraiya, but he wasn't Minato. And Mina was growing on him, but she wasn't Kushina.
Sasuke had changed. He was not the Sasuke from his childhood. This Sasuke was darker and colder. This Sasuke was different. He was so sad, full of sadness, Naruto could just feel it all. He didn't smile as big or as much. He wasn't as loud. He wasn't trying hard to impress Naruto like when they were kids.
He was just Sasuke Uchiha. He was Sakura Haruno's ex boyfriend and Itachi Uchihas little brother. He was the let down, the no good. He couldn't compare to his older brother. He was a genius. But he was also Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki's best friend.
--
"Good talk." Itachi smile, poking his brothers head before sending him out the door. "Don't forget about her Sasuke." He warned.Sasuke quietly walked down the street, his hands in his pockets. The walk to Sakura's house wasn't very long but Sasuke walked slow so it would be.
When he first noticed Sakura and finally paid her attention, she still annoyed him but with the persuasion of Kiba, Sasuke asked her for a date, where Sasuke learned alot about Sakura and how she was more than just a bitchy fangirl.
Sakura was suffering, only fighting on her own. She was bullied and she was always striving to prove everyone wrong. Sasuke became close with her and decided that he wanted to be with her. Pushing Naruto to the back of his mind.
Sakura and Sasuke had shared a special kind of bond. Sasuke really did love her. He really felt like things would work out. He really seen a future with her but then Naruto had come back and his previous paintings where destroyed.
"Sasuke? What are you doing here?" Sakura stared at him with wide, sad eyes. She wasn't prepared for this.
"I-I came to, uh, t-talk." He stuttered, his cheeks turned red and his gaze was anywhere but Sakura.
"Oh, okay. Just, uh, let me get changed." The door closed quietly and he heard a sob.
This would be so fun.
Soon the girl left her house, her eye were bloodshot and red and guilt filled the boy. "We should walk." Sasuke spoke nodding his head towards the path.
"Why do you want to talk all of a sudden?" She asked, her eyes gazing forward and not at Sasuke, she walked waiting for his answer.
"We need to." Sasuke breathed, "About us."
"I already know Sasuke." She harshly looked at him, her words soft and sad.
"No, you don't Sakura. Listen to me." He barked, his cold eyes staring back at her hurt ones.
Sasuke felt terrible, this wasn't supposed to be like this. They weren't even a thing, they never were. Naruto just takes up all of Sasuke's time and he always wants to spend time with Naruto, he's sure Sakura wouldn't be happy with that.
So they walked quietly down the path, he spoke softly and helped her understand. Sakura of course was crying and Sasuke himself was beginning to feel tears prick his eyes.
"Friends?" Sakura smiled, sticking her hound out to Sasuke, who nodded and gripped hers.
"Best friends." He promised, causing the pinkette to laugh, "I've always wanted a gay best friend!" She cheered before running into her garden and away from Sasuke, she heard him yell "I'm not gay." Before she had ran off into her home with a satisfied grin. Her heart may still hurt but Sasuke wanted to be apart of her life and for that she was greatful.
