The dreary echos of team One's dragging feet emanated through the darkness. Diana and her team followed the nameless janitor (aka secret agent man) through the dark tunnel.
He hadn't told them much, but from what she could gather. A group of "evil ninjas" had attacked in the light. The staff had taken each of the four teams down through a different tunnels. Where the tunnel led she had no clue.
Diana glanced bake at her crew. Even without already knowing she could tell that most of her team had been pulled out of bed. Their face and lims sagged. Their feet scraped across the ground as if only will to put in the bare energy need to keep up.
Apparently the adrenalin had worn off, not so with Diana. She could barley contain her self. She imagine the surrounding shadows filled with killers lieing in wait.
These filled her not with fear but excitement. Her eyes darted this way that trying find were the enemies hid. Of course the only thing she find was the occasional rodent.
"I think a Stepped in some kind of animal dug" Mushashi said form behind her, she ignored him.
"Excuse me" , she ask there mysterious guide. "Do you have a spare gun? "
She waited for him to answer but he did envy acknowledge he heard her. Knowing that he did (How could he not in an otherwise silent tunnel) she continued.
I only ask cause I thin on of us could use one. She smiled I of course don't need one. She small bolts of lighting move between her figure tips. But think one of the others could use one.
More silence.
Come on not like they dodn't have training. We all have fire stunners in labyrinth, we can handle those why not the real thing?
"Were here the exit" The janitor said without turning to acknowledge her.
With in moment they came among a old and rusted latter. Dina was the second one up. the cold touch of rungs drain heat from her fingers.
The lead to a clearings surround my bushes in the mist of a forest. The others soon followed. Suddenly "James Bond" turn his head as if he were try to he some one whisper.
"Down and into the the woods" He called out. It was the first time Diana had heard him raise his voice. She didn't have time to over come her surprise be for he started shooting.
Right on cue some one in the woods began to return fire.
