untitled
One day we were
Seeing the world
Through a child's eyesPretty, colorful, happy
That even if the world
Is cold, through a child's eyes
It is warmThe world is grey
It's rainbow through a child's eyesThe world is cruel
It has hope through a child's eyesWe were seeing
The world through
A child's colorful looking glassInnocent
Naive
Unknowing of the real dangers
Filtered by colorful lensOne day we took off
The glass
Or it fell on its own
And shattered as it dropped on the floorIt might've been early for some
Late for some to tak offOne day
But we all have
Our rainbow tinted glass gne
And we didn't even realize it
That we wore the looking glass
We have see through it as a child
For the last time
i said i'm done with this for now. i'm just feeling nostalgic about some things i've done for the last time without realizing it.
