The day was getting increasingly dull and boring. So uneventful in fact, that it was getting hard not to drift off to sleep. Sleeping wasn't an issue when it came to everyday life for our pink headed, cat loving Min Yoongi. He could sleep through an earthquake without much trouble, a typhoon would go unnoticed while he was prancing around his head. He didn't find difficulty sleeping – what he did struggle with, however, was the act of being able to stay awake long enough for the school day to just pass by. He would find himself looking into space as the day dragged on at heart wrenchingly slow speeds during what used to be a 6-hour day in middle school. Now that they were in high school, however, and preparing for upcoming exams into some of the best universities, if not the best ones, in the country – the school day lasted a time consuming 10 hours from 7 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.

Yoongi hated it, hated it with a quivering passion. What was the point? He didn't even have a life anymore, besides studying and going to school. What used to be nights that consisted of video games, karaoke, sleepovers and leisure time, was now replaced by a depressingly long day – stuffed in a crummy learning institution where he didn't even stay awake long enough to absorb too much of the information anyway. He passed most of his exams on stock knowledge alone.

"MR. MIN!" a voice hollered as he pulled himself out of his slumber. He lifted his hefty head from the crevice of his right elbow, his eyes adjusting to the light as the sight of his homeroom teacher's scowl came to view.

"Yes teach?" he answered in a rough, sleep laced tone.

"That's Mr. Hwang to you!" he said through gritted teeth as he gripped his wooden ruler in one hand. "What have I told you about sleeping in class?!" Yoongi smirked, leaning back and stretching his arms as he observed the rest of his prurient class watched, as he was disciplined pointlessly. "What time did you sleep last night?! Did you sleep at 3am thinking it was wise to even come into class if you're only going to sleep through it anyway?! Yoongi, your exams are coming up for university and being here is pointless if you aren't going to learn and listen!" This wasn't the first time he been caught sleeping in class, and the rest of his homeroom classmates remained unsurprised by the teacher's desperate attempts to try and chastise the lazy boy into paying attention. "Are you even listening to me!?"

"I heard you, sir." Yoongi replied casually. "I just wasn't listening." He retorted cheekily. Jin and Namjoon sighed either side of Yoongi, wondering where he got the guts to speak to a teacher so casually and disrespectfully. He had always been one to rebel against the rules laid out for everyone to follow, always went round with an aura of power and one could even look at him and call him badass and swag – but it didn't help him when he was talking to people of, what society thinks, is hierarchy.

Mr. Hwang was seething at this point. Time and time again, he had reminded Yoongi the importance of staying awake during lessons and giving his all in the activities he had prepared beforehand. Mr. Hwang had spent hours just preparing these lesson plans for his class and every time Yoongi came into the room, he disregarded that fact with ease – simply by putting his head down and falling asleep.

Inhyung watched from the side-lines as the teacher carried on yapping at Yoongi like a nagging mother. Yoongi was basically the class's delinquent and she wondered why she had taken such a liking to him since she detested when the teacher was disrespected in such a manner. It's just that, when Yoongi rebelled... it was like she was witnessing a rebel in the process of standing up for human rights. He just looked so cool while breaking the rules like that.

"CLASS PRESIDENT!" Mr. Hwang summoned when Yoongi began to look away from him, bored by the speech he got on most days. Inhyung flinched at the loudness of the teacher's voice and immediately faced the front to witness Mr. Hwang's rapidly reddening face. This couldn't have been good.
