Yoongi hadn't returned. It was past the seventeenth hour in the day and Yoongi hadn't opened the door to let himself into the apartment with his jingly-jangly keys – and Jimin was getting worried. Yoongi was always home on time, Yoongi had non-verbally promised that he would be in the presence of his feline right after school and not waste a second of his time frolicking like other youths his age. He had vowed, he had promised, and yet he was nowhere to be seen. Jimin had set his eyes on plenty of adolescents pass the corner, run through traffic filled roads, the average chap on the way back from his cigarette break course through their street but not once, had he seen a strawberry coloured head wave up at him through one of the windows of their apartment complex.

"Would you stop worrying?" Jimin heard bubbles in a female voice as he fixed his gaze onto the bus that came to a stop, praying Yoongi was aboard and going home in a hurry to meet his bony fingers with the black of his fur. His prayers went unanswered and only served to make him more restless.

"Luna I will stop worrying when you learn to breathe air." Jimin sniped, hissed at her ignorance as he plotted to swallow her whole. "You swim and sleep where you piss, just shut up if you just want to tell me pointless things in place of words that would be better used with someone who can't talk back." Luna rolled her goldfish eyes and chose to ignore the thousandth insult she had received from the irritable cat – blamed it on Yoongi for being late home.

"Yoongi will be home in no time, don't be so agitated about him not being home so late." Luna argued as she swam around the toy diver in her tank, pretending he could move just as she could in these waters. "He is at that tender age."

"But he's never taken so long getting home!" Jimin cried, trying to hold himself steady as he shook with fear.

"Hyung, you're overthinking this." Kookie yawned as he laid sprawled out on the living room rug. "He's fine! Probably out with Jin and Namjoon."

"Why are you so calm?!" Jimin whimpered violently. "Yoonah isn't home yet either! She might have been assaulted by some old pervert for all you know!"

"I think she'd be able to handle herself, no offence to me." Yoonah had been assaulted once in the past, she had handled it with the strength of her feet to the man's crowned jewels and had no need of a puppy's protection. She had handled him without losing sleep for his probable decrease in sperm count.

"Why am I the only one who's freaking out?" Jimin asked no one in particular and everyone simultaneously, trying to determine whether Yoongi had been in the presence of evil on his way home. That alley way he passes twice everyday always had feral cats scouring for leftover food. Evil may have been lurking there, and God forbid, any knife wrangling hooligans with a taste for blood! What if Yoongi had been abducted? What if he had been in carried into the sewers and held for ransom? How much would he have to pay to see him live? Would he have to give up one of his lives? No, he would give up all his lives if it kept Yoongi safe from harm.

"I HAVE TO SAVE HIM!" Jimin sprinted to the master's bedroom and scratched violently at the wood of the door. He meowed loudly, pleadingly as he shouted 'MOM' laced with desperation. "MOM PLEASE WE NEED TO SAVE YOONGI! THE FERAL CATS MIGHT HAVE KILLED HIM ALREADY!"

"What is he doing?" Kookie asked as he sat next to Luna's fish tank in search of an explanation to Jimin's weirdly anxious and loud behaviour.

"Being stupid, that's what." Luna shook her head, so utterly done it was a wonder why she had ever started in the first place. She supposed Kookie had only been in the family for a short while, and so had not yet witnessed Jimin's extreme break downs in terms of Yoongi's tardy comings home. He would set eyes on it now, Jimin was about to take out his anxiety on Mom and there was nothing anyone could really do about it.
