Chang'e °Pietro Maximoff

Chapter 12

"Rava, wake up. We're back."

Opening her brown eyes she saw Pietro's eyes looking into hers.
The two smiled at eachother before he helped the girl stand up.
"I'm sorry for sleeping on you the whole ride back home."
The boy chuckled, a sound that Rava enjoyed.
"I don't mind, prințesă."

Before the group entered Natasha turned around to Rava with her eyebrow raised.
"You know they're gonna be pissed at what you've done."
The girl nodded her eyes growing bigger in fear.
"But i'll put a good word in for you."
The redhead said with a wink.

Inside the Avengers tower was a totally different sphere.
When everyone woke up this morning they saw that Rava and the twins were gone. They just vanished into thin air.

"Maybe they just went out partying or something like that. They are young and maybe wanted to have some fun."

When the rest of the team heard Tony say this they all turned around with a look as if they were saying 'really'.

"Tony this isn't a joke. My daughter is gone with the two people that were once on Ultron's side."

The thundergod didn't understand why his favourite Avenger was gone and just like the night before he grabbed Vision and began to yell for awnsers.
"Did you have anything to do with this?!"
The robot shook his head in response not knowing were any of the kids were.
Before the situation could escalate any further the door opened and the three youngster walked inside with the black widow on their side.

"How on earth is this possible?"

"Well Clint, i don't know either but i'm glad to be back here instead of that place Ultron put me."

Steve walked forward with an angry look on his face.
"How could you do that, Rava. I've told you to stay out of this."
The girl tried to defend herself but Steve didn't give her the opportunity because he kept rambling on and on about her disobeying him and what the consequences could have been.
"You could have gotten hurt."

Pretending that she wasn't almost choked to death se replied with the same fire in her voice.
"But i didn't. Why are you making such a big deal out of it. Nobody got hirt and Nat's back, thanks to my desicion and me sticking my nose into your business."
What Steve said next was something Rava didn't expect and it hurt her badly.
"The last time you decided to something irresponsible like that you killed your whole nation and that could've happened again.

The girl stepped back feeling a pang in her chest. A look of horror and betrayal on her face.
Realising what he just said Steve tried to apalogize and step forward to comfort her but each step he took forward she took backwards shaking her head with tears in her eyes.
"Rava, i a.."
But he couldn't finish his sentence before the girl had run out of the room.

"Well you handled that very well, Captain."
The billionaire genius spoke up.

Some of the Avengers went looking for Rava but to no avail.
The twins knew exactly were to look and when they entered the room with the enormous doors they saw the girl sitting there next to the pond.
"You go talk to her, i'll leave you two alone." before Pietro could respond his sister had already sped of.

The silverhaired boy walked inside trying to be as quiet as possible not wanting to interrupt her peace but failed when he spoke up.
"Can i come in?"
The girl turned her head in an instant upon hearing a voice.
Luckily it belonged to someone she didn't mind to be here.
"You can always enter. No need to ask."

He sat next to her with his arms on his knees before asking the important question.
"Are you okay?"
She looked at him with a sad smiled and nodded.
"Don't lie, prințesă."
She huffed and the tears fell.
"How could he say something like that?" she said holding her head in her hands while the tears spilled on her hands.

"It's because he cares, prințesă. He just didn't want you to get hurt and he got angry at you for putting yourself in danger."

She looked up at the boy beside her.
"But that doesn't explain why he would say something like that."
The sokovian speedster sighed in return.
"He didn't mean to. It just came out by accident."

Pietro looked at her for a while nefpre she turned to face him and caught him staring.
"No one in this tower wants to see you get hurt. We all care about you deeply."
She smiled sadly at him before hugging him tightly.
"Thank you once again, Pietro."
He smiled holding the girl close to him, enjoying the moment with her.
"Anytime, my prințesă."
He kissed the side of her head before letting her go.

The two just sat there for a while staring at the water in the pond.
Or well that's what Rava did.
Pietro on the other hand looked at the young Avenger every once in a while, admiring her strength. He also noticed how beautiful she was, like a real godess instead of the child of one.
After a while she layed her head on his shoulder and the two intertwined their hands, enjoying eachothers company.

And just like Wanda had wished something was blossoming between the two young heros.
