Chang'e °Pietro Maximoff

Chapter 15

Morning arrived and the Avengers were lined up waiting for their new soldiers.
Rava stood in the middle looking like she was some powerful leader.
The doors opened and about fifty people came walking out.
Among the crowd were multiple men and women dressed in their traditional nationclothing.
All of them stood in five rows and kneeled down before the moonchild.

Rava stepped forward and began speaking in chinese.
"Gentlemen and ladies of nationcity, you've come here today to fight for our world. An enemy is rising and plans to destroy the world alongside ours. It is our duty to not only protect our country but also the rest of the world. I trust in you all to succeed."

The first one to stand up was a woman dressed in the clothes of the fire nation. She looked at the young Avenger for a while and then diverted her eyes to the rest of the team.
She thrusted her hand up and yelled
"Wǒ de gōngzhǔ!"
After she began the rest of the soldiers also stood up and joined her in cheering for their moonprincess.

All of the soldiers were fighting against eachother and the Avengers trying to get back in shape again fpr the upcoming war against their unknown enemy.
Rava just stood at the side looking proudly at everyone.
After discussing the matters of the need of the land's soldiers with the king they came to an agreement of him lending fifty of his men.
They might need more against Ultron's army but it was better than just the Avengers alongside the twins and Vision.
In total they had eighteen firebenders, seventeen waterbenders and fifteen earthbenders.
Rava was one of the last airbender left alongside Sihun.

"Okay everyone let's take a break!"
All of the benders stopped fighting in less than a second while the rest of the Avengers just stood in complete confusion wondering why all of them stopped fighting and just casually walked away.
One of the firebenders turned around throwing his hands up in annoyance.
"She said you could take a break, you idiots."
That surpised everyone even more.
So some of them did speak english.

The sassy firebender that just called them out walked towards Rava and they began speaking.
Pietro walked forward trying to catch a glimpse of their conversation.

"So all of them have been fed and are ready to fly again?"
The man nodded in response.
"They are ready, my queen."
Rava looked at him in shock.
"I'm not your queen, my dear."
He just chuckled in response before beginning to explain.
"Everyone that lives in the land of the Elements finds you a more fitting leader than our present king and we will always see the daughter of Chang'e as our queen."
The brownhaired girl just nodded unsurely not knowing what to think of it.

The training was over for the day and tomorrow would be the day that all of the Avengers alongside their army of  benders would fight against Ultron and his army.
Rava and Pietro hadn't spoken to eachother since last night's events.
Not that Pietro really had the chance to speak to her since she had been busy helping everyone and organizing everything for the next day.

All of the heros were relaxing on a set of benches inside the courtyard of the king's palace when Rava came stormimg into the room with a huge smile on her face.
"I have a surprise for all of you."

"What is it?"
Tony ofcourse being the first one to speak up.

"Well i told you that my people didn't need transport because they had their own. Well i want to show you their fascinating way of traveling."

She began to ran out of the doors and everyone immediatly followed, curious about their travelingways.
When they walked through the city they ofcourse had already seen the trains riding high in the sky, seering through the air on their earth platforms.

They stopped before a set of enormous rocks with a small crack in the middle where only one person at a time could walk.
The moongirl turned around woth a serious look on her face.
"Now, all of you have to stand behind me and not make any sudden movements. And if I walk forward, keep standing unless you want to die."
She chuckled nervously.

Everyone began to walk into the crack one person after the other.
Once they saw what was at the other side of the rocks they were taken back by the sight.
There were hundreds of dragons flying through the air or just relaxing on the rocks or ground.

"How on earth is this possible. Dragons are just a myth."

"Well Clint to you they are a myth. To me on the other hand they are my transportation and friends."

She walked forwards and a dragon about the size of an airplane began running towards her roaring at her with his huge razor-sharp teeth showing. Everyone stepped back in fear but Rava just kept walking forward with a smile on her face.

When she was just a few feet away from the huge beast, it slowed down and let itself drop on the ground so it's nose was about the same heght as Rava.
"Hello, old friend of mine."
She said while petting his nose.
The dragon pushed his head against the whole surface of Rava's body lighty.
She chuckled in response.
"I've missed you to, buddy."
Turning her head she saw everyone standing there in shock.

After a while everyone left but Pietro and the girl was left alone with her dragon.
"You want to come closer?"
He looked at her unsure.
The dragon looked innocent with a part of his head on her lap.
She stood up and walked towards him.
She took his hand in hers and walked forward very slowly.
The dragon growled and the boy tensed up.
"It's okay, Pietro. Trust me."
He walked forward again only closer to Rava.

They were standing infront of the dragon and Rava chrouched down again taking the boy down with her.
"You can pet him if you want."

"But isn't it dangerous since i don't know him."
She shook her head.
"If i trust you, he trusts you to."
He layed his hand on the dragon's snout and started petting it softly.
He laughed slightly, thinking about what he was touching right now.
"What is his name?"
"Jooheon, like my friend."
He smiled at her.
The rest of the night was spend with the dragon before the duo went to bed.

The next morning was tense.
Today was the day everyone would fight.
All of the benders sat on their dragons waiting to fly off.
Rava walked out in her fire nation armor ready for battle.

The Avengers got into the jet except for Rava.
"Rava, you coming."
She shook her head while walking backwards.
"I'm riding alongside my people on Jooheon. I'll see you there guys."

She mounted her dragon and got ready for flying off. And Kooheon roared getting everyone's attention.
She looked back at her army.

"It's time for war."
