Chapter 14

"Well it sure looks different when i took you back to shield."
Rava smiled up at her father.
"It's beautiful like it once was. It just misses the people now."

After the horrible events caused by Hydra the rest of the nations took it upon themselves to clean it up and make it beautiful like it once was.
This was their way of showing respect to all the air residents.

They were walking through the temple when an old man came into view.
"Lady Rava, welcome back."
The old man bowed. She looked down on him with a stern look. Something none of the Avengers had seen.
But she broke into a huge smile and hugged the man tightly and lifted him of the ground.
"It's so good to see you again, dear Sihun."

"Now, my child. Put me down, i'm not that young anymore."
The girl turned around and introduced him to her family.
"Guys, this is the keeper of the airtemple, Sihun."
They all waved and shook hands with him.

The team of heros began walking further. Once they were out of the temple they came across a pond.
It was very familiar for a few of them.
"It's like that room of yours, prințesă."
She nodded excitedly at him.
She took his and walked towards the pond.
"Look it's the two fish. The black and white one."
They looked at eachother with a smile.

Everyone began walking again and they were about to reach the border of the earthkingdom.
"This is it guys."
When they were walking through the streets of the earthkingdom all the villagers were looking at them weirdly and in amazement.
Seeing the child of the moongodess was a wonder for the villagers.

Finally they were at the gates of the palace.
"Who wants to speak to the king?"
No one understood a word of what the guards said except for Rava.
They were speaking Chinese so no one knew what was being said.

Rava turned around and said they could enter.

Once they entered all of them got seperated and taken to their own rooms. Everyone got a new piece of clothing and freshed up by the servants.
Everyone except for Rava were taken to a room. Inside was a big table filled with all kinds of food.

In another room was the king of the earthkingdom waiting for his special guest.
And there she was. The legend of all the lands herself.
Rava awkwardly walked towards the king sitting on his throne.
"Your grace." she bowed down while he stood up.
"It should be me bowing to you. Now stand up, my child."
Rava obeyed.
"Now i'm sure you didn't come here with young team of heros for fun."
The king began walking back and forth trying to come up with possibilities on her visit.
"There is an enemy of ours that we need to defeat. And we need your help with that."
He stopped pacing and faced the girl infront of him.
"And why would i even consider risking the lives of my soldiers to fight your battles."

"Because he will wipe out the earth and you will suffer aswell. So if you don't help us the land of Elements will go down along with me and my team of heros."
This is it. She had him there or so she had hoped.

"But our land has been a secret for centuries. It will stay that way and so this enemy of yours will not find us.
You can go now."
Taken back by his attitude she didn't know what to say for a moment but Rava regained her confidence rather quickly.
"I hope you know who you're talking to, sire"
She stepped towards him and began speaking again.
"I'm the child if the moongodess herself. People will follow me sooner than you so i would be careful with your words cuz i can turn these people against you with the snap of my fingers."
It was silent for a moment and the king looked at Rava with big eyes.
"Now my king, where were we? Ohw yeah my need for your army."
She smiled sweetly at him.

When the king and Rava walked into the dining hall where the rest of the Avengers were seated the looked like real earthroyals.

Rava sat in between Clint and Pietro.
Clint immediatly asked the important question. "So we got the army?"
Rava nodded in response.

She felt a nudge in her side. Rava looked up into Pietro's eyes.
"You look beautiful, prințesă."
Rava snorted in response to his statement.
"Well you don't look to bad in earthclothing aswell."
He smiled brigthly, having the proud feeling of her thinking he looked good. Everyone at the table had some small talk before leaving to go to their rooms.
Afterall the next two days would be very important.

Rava on the other hand went outside to sit on the balcony admiring the stars and the moon.
"Hey kiddo."
Recognizing the voice over her farther she smiled at the man standing behind her.
She waved before looking back up the sky.
"Look kid , about the other day. I.."

"It's okay Steve. I know you didn't mean to."
Her response surprised him greatly.
"So you forgive me?"
She smiled at her father.
"There's nothing to forgive, dad."
She jumped from the balcony, walking towards him and hugging him tightly.
"Goodnight, kid."
"Goodnight."

After Steve left she was left alone in silence again. Rava was enjoying the peaceful moment for as long as it lasts.
"See, i told told you he didn't mean it."
The girl sighed in slight annoyance.
"Can't i ever have a peaceful moment on my own."
The sokovian speedster just smiled at her amd stood closely next to her.
"So what's going to happen next?"
Rava turned around to face him.
"Well tomorrow we'll collect the men that will fight alongside of us. It's just the day we are going to prepare for the battle and then the next day it's time for war." she smiled nervously at him.
"We can do it, prințesă. I'm sure of it."
He took her hand in his.
"I just hope nobody gets hurt, Pietro."
The young Avenger looked at the moon for resurrance.
"I can't lose any of you guys. You are all to special to me."

"I'll make sure your family won't get hurt."
She tore her eyes away from the moon and back into the speedster's eyes.
"Well you have to make sure you look after yourself aswell. I can't lose you either. You mean to much to me just to be sacrifised for the rest of my family. You and Wanda are part of our family aswell."

Pietro just hugged the girl without saying a word. Holding her close to him he wished moments like this would never end.

Rava didn't expect the hug but wrapped her arms around his waist anyway and layed her head on his chest, hearing his heartbeat.
He let go of her and grabbed her face with his hands.

He looked into her eyes. He saw her as one of the most beautiful creatures on earth.

Rava wasn't sure what was about to happen but she didn't mind. The boy infront of her made her feel things she never knew. In a short time she came to care much more than a friend about him.
"Pietro?"
"Rava."
This was one of the first times he called her by his real name.

He began to lean in. Their faces getting closer to each other.
Their lips being just a few centimeters apart.

"Rava?"
The duo jumped apart from eachother in an instant.

There was Clint standing awkwardly.
"Oh i'm sorry.. Uhh i'll just leave."

After the archer left there was an awkward silence. Thanks alot, Clint.
Rava began to laugh.
"Oh my goodness, that was horrible."
The two youngsters just laughed it off trying to forget what just had happened.
Rava began to walk away.

"Goodnight Pietro."

Goddammit Clint! They were about to kiss😠
So there are probably a few chapter left of this book and then i'm finished😢
But no worries i've been busy coming up with new ideas for books and i've been writing a bit.
