When you all managed to sneak in throught the back of the castle, you all thought you were off scott free. Unfortuneately the King was already waiting for you. His soft eyes kept him from every looking scarily angry but his face was serious.

"And where were all of you today?"

Everyone was silent. Cassandra couldn't lie to the King for she could lose her job and Eugene would be constantly tormented by Cassandra's dad. Rapunzel was gripping onto her hair thinking of something to say. Finally, you spoke up.

"Cassandra was cleaning all day. Eugene was out with Lance and I was with Rapunzel in the garden"

The King raised his eyebrow. "Is that so?" He took noticed of all the dirt on you and the still new burn. "I did not know the garden had so much loose dirt to kick around or anything that could burn you."

You tried to hide your arm. "Oh you know me. I am so clumsy I can always find a way to fall down." The King wasn't buying it. He directed your gaze toward Rapunzel.

"Rapunzel, I thought I told you not to go outside Corona's walls."

You couldn't let her take all the blame, not after everything she has been through today. "It was my fault your majesty. I was so homesick I begged Rapunzel to help me venture outside the walls."

Now Rapunzel spoke up. "No father, it was my fault. I just don't get why you won't let us leave the town. We didn't do anything."

"Rapunzel, it is not because I don't trust you. I am just aware of the dangers right now. Something's causing havoc throughout the kingdom, destroyng homes, hurting civilians. Look at what happened to (y/n)."

What did this have to do with you. Wait . . .

"Do you means the rocks? Are you sayng they are in other places of the kingdom."

"Father how do you even know about the rocks?"

"I have my sources. Now we must dismiss this matter and carry on with our day. Dinner is being served soon." Everyone left to get washed up for dinner but the King stopped you.

"Now,now (y/n), I need to have another word with you". 

You accepted your doom. Good bye sweet world. It was nice knowing you.

You looked the King. "What is it King Frederick?"

"(y/n)", he started, you know I would do anything to protect my family."

"Of course, your majesty."I will keep a closer eye on the princess."

"That is not what I meant."

"I don't understand."

"(y/n), even  If you only consder yourself as a lady  in waiting here out of pity, everyone else here along with myself, considers you as part of the family. Even if you have only been here a few months. I have even heard Eugene and Rapunzel say that they consider you as a sister."

You remembered how protective Eugene was whenever a boy got close to you, or how Rapunzel would come to sit with you when you were alone in your room. The king knelt down in front of you and rested a hand on your shoulder.

"Now, I know you have the need to help everone here, but I would hate to see you get hurt doing so. Now . . ." He stood up. "Lets head to dinner. I heard the chef is making Shepard pie.

Dinner was great and after everyone was trying to pass the time by telling stories. It turns out Cassandra had a horse obsession when she was younger and King Fredrerick is the reason as to why the garden had to be remodeled when he was a child.
