*LAST A CHALLENGE CHAPTER I PROMISE. The next chapter is gonna get things going.*
You had no idea if the plan would work at all. You trusted Varian but his plan was a little far fetched. It's best to hope for the best.
You walked into the dining room where everyone was and sat down next to Rapunzel.
"Hey (y/n), sleep well?"
No you didn't. "Yeah I did, I was even able to finish the essay Mr. Monroe assigned to me.
"That's great. Hey Eugene is training today. So later would you like to help me paint? You seemed to like watching me paint so I would love a new painting buddy."
"Well if all goes well . . . -Sure! Sounds fun." You tried to give carefree smile, which seemed to be enough for Rapunzel. You were calm until someone else caught your attention.
Queen Ariana spoke up. "(y/n), their seems to be a um, rodent, probem in the library. So while that is being handled your daily tutoring will be held in your bedroom. Mr. Monroe will be waiting for you once you finish eating."
You guffawed, was this part of Varian's plan? You quickly took a few more bites of breakfast and sat up.
"I think I'll head to my room then. I don't want to keep Mr. Monroe waiting for too long." You stepped out trying not to tool like you were in a rush.
As you walked toward your room, you walked past the library to see what caused it to close for the day. There was a loud crash and you peered inside the library. There were two guards frantically chasing after a very familiar looking racoon that was jumping and knocking over countless items. You looked down and put your hand over your mouth in an attempt to stifle the upcoming laugh until you spotted a pouch hidden behind a statue in front of the library. You bent down and picked it up. Inside were a few magenta balls, and two salt shakers. One held the white neutralizing powder and one the black de-neutralizing powder.
Inside there was a small note. ~Good luck : ) - Varian~
Once you grabbed the bag you rushed to your room before anyone could notice you. Mr. Monroe was pacing your room impatiently
"Uh, Good Morning Mr. Monroe".
Without a second glance he spat out "take a seat at your desk. We are already behind in work and I don't want to stay in this unruly room anymore than I have too."
You bit you're lip, holding back a strong retort. " Yes. Sir". Making your way toward your desk you gripped the bag and decided that it was was now or never. Pretending to trip, you dropped one of the orbs. It exploded, trapping Mr. Monroe where he stood. You threw on a false worried expression.
"OH, Mr. Monroe are you okay!?!? What happened."
"What is the meaning of this?! What have you done you silly girl. "
"I'm not sure what you are talking about. But I think I have something to fix it."
"Well hurry it up then. " Monroe tried to give you an intimidating stare but him being stuck in a blob of pink goop was making it hard. You sprinkled a bit of the neutralixer in the area around his feet and it began to clear. You were about to reach for the other substance to finish the plan but . . . you paused. You promised the King and Queen that you would take your gify of education seriously and this is how you expected to pay them? No Way.
You calmly stood up and turned to your chair but mistakenly bumped into Mr. Monroe's side, wher a piece of paper fell out of his pocket.
"OH! Sorry ag-". You stopped midsentence when you saw your name in the first part of the paper. It was a letter.
