JADES POV
It's been 2 weeks since I told Dylan how I wanted to start our past year relationship over. And it's been going surprisingly really well.
He took me back to the Icoplex for our first date.
"It would only be right if our first date is at the same place where it all started." He said, and I couldn't help but smile widely.
He was just as bad as I remember, always falling over and basically holding on to the me the whole time for support. I hadn't laughed so hard in forever and it felt amazing.
The following days were even better, he took me on a picnic in the most beautiful part of the forest where a bit of water cut through rocks giving us our own waterfall. He brought wings and things to make up for last time and I couldn't even remember the rest of our conversation as a began to eat them. We were interrupted when I swarm of bees came and attacked us, Dylan screamed like a girl and I didn't stop laughing until we got home.
At one point I had brought it up again within a few days after that. I started laughing the same way I did before, unable to catch my breathe, He then began to tickle me.
"If you wanna laugh I'll give you something to laugh about."He said with a smirk.
"OKAY OKAY! Stop stop please I'm going to pee." I cried out, tears brimming my eyes.
He stopped, still hovering over my body.
"What are you staring at?" I asked wiping the tears from my eyes.
"The most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on." He said, his cheeks beginning to redden.
"Damn, that was cheesy." He said pinching the bridge of his nose and laughing.
"Yeah, yeah it was." I said laughing along with him. His laughter stopped and slowly turned back into a smirk. His eyes moving back and forth from my eyes to my lips. I smiled grabbing the back of his neck bringing his lips to mine.
His lips were warm and tasted of cherry Chapstick. I smiled into the kiss thinking back to the day of the Forrest, breaking myself from the kiss.
"I'm sorry I just can't get over it, who knew your voice could get so high?" I said looking back up at him. His face was bright red and his smile bigger than anyone I've ever seen on him before.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing, it's just I've never kissed you before... That was awesome."
"What do you mean, I'm sure you've kissed me before right?" I say confused
"Oh yeah yeah of course I just meant, since were starting over and everything that was technically you know, like our first kiss." He said a little too fast.
"Your such a dork Dylan." I said kissing his cheek and getting up of the ground to.

Tonight he's supposed to come over for a movie night I planned with my parents. My mom seemed kind of weird around Dylan and they didn't talk as much as I remember they did. So I thought it couldn't hurt for all us to spend some time together and hopefully loosen some of the tension between them.
So here I am,at the RedBox machine trying to choose from 'Ride Along' or 'That Awkward Moment.' I hear 'that Awkward moment' was pretty funny but also a cute romantic, but I know my dad and Dylan wouldn't be up for that. And 'Ride Along' had Kevin hart so it was kind of a no brainer I guess. But then agai-
"Jade?" A low voice behind me disturbs my thoughts.I cautiously turn around, my eyes meeting chocolate brown ones.
"Umm yea?" I say silently cursing myself at the weakness in my voice.
