"Everyone is entitled to their own sorrow, for the heart has no metrics or form of measure. And all of it... Irreplaceable."
It was a typical day at Gars Bodega. K.O was mopping the floors, Enid was sitting at the counter, and Rad was stocking some shelves. Carmen and Cassandra would from time to time visit the Bodega. And when K.O is on break, Cassandra and/or Carmen would teach him what they were taught.
It was stressful and irritating at first, but K.O was getting the hang of it. Today during his break, he'll meet either Cassandra or Carmen. A familiar ding from the doors of the store caused K.O to immediately look up, only to see it was his best friend, Dendy.
"Hello, K.O." she greeted.
"Hi, Dendy," K.O said with a smile. "How's your day been?" he asked.
"I'd say my day is going quite grand." Dendy answered.
"Well, what brings you here?" K.O asked with curiosity. "Have you forgotten what we agreed on last night during our video call?"
K.O thought about what she was talking about until he remembered. K.O and Dendy agreed that they were gonna find out what those creatures that they came across were two months ago. "Aw man," K.O said as he lightly slapped his forehead. "I totally forgot about that. I was focused on meeting Cassandra or her sister today for training, and i guess that slipped my mind." K.O said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Its alright, K.O." Dendy stated with a smile on her face. Another ding from the doors sounded. It was Cassandra wearing the same red hood, as always. She was wearing the same sparkling, light grey shirt with a yellow strap showing on the right.
"Hey, Enid." Cassandra greeted, waving to her. "Hey kid." Enid said, waving back. Cassandra walked over to K.O.
"Hi, K.O." She greeted once again. K.O waved to her. "I'm guessing your his best friend, Dendy."
"That is correct." Dendy stated. "So, when are you going on break?" Cassandra asked, directing her attention to K.O.
"Well-" the alarm blared throughout the store, meaning Boxman was sending on of his children to destroy the plaza.
"Looks like I came just in time." Cassandra stated. Everyone ran out of the store and saw an enormous metal box with the Boxmore logo fall from the sky. It landed on the ground and opened to reveal not a robot, but some creature that had the appearance of a bear. Its fur was black with spikes protruding from its back.
