Casey was sitting in the new café in the Plaza called InterCup Café. A private room was rented out for the day so her and Professor Venomous can have an important discussion. Venomous was pretty vague about what he wanted to talk to her about. Maybe he can explain to her the reason why. She's also suppose to meet Carol and Eugene later in the day.

She's been sitting in the room for about half an hour now. What the hell's taking Venomous so long? she complained. The door opened to reveal the man of poison himself dressed in his Shadowy Figure getup. There standing next to him was a humanoid mouse girl that was about K.O's height.

"What took you so long to get here?" Casey asked, crossing her arms.

"Getting here was easy," Venomous replied as he walked to the chair and pulled his hood down. "But trying not to get noticed by heroes was difficult." the mouse girl finished.

"I can see that." Casey said. "How come Fink is here?"

"I wanted to come here with him." Fink told her. "Okay," Casey paused. "Why did you want to meet me exactly? You weren't very specific on why you arranged this?" she questioned him.

"Well, I got more info on her plan, but its not much." Venomous inquired as he pulled out another flash drive that looked the same as the last one.

"Even the most smallest of information can be useful." Casey stated, taking the flash drive.

Silence fell upon the room, until Casey broke it. "So, what's the second reason on why you wanted to meet me?" she asked.

Venomous hesitated to answer. Way before he could even speak, the humanoid rat spoke. "My boss doesn't have to tell you why." she retorted. Casey took the tone of her voice as being a bitch.

"Fink," Venomous said, grabbing her attention. "She has the right to be curious." Fink just crossed her arms and pouted to this.

He sighed for what he was going to tell her. "I wanted to meet you because," Venomous paused. "Well, its about a certain someone."

"Like who?" Casey asked suspiciously for some reason.

"My love's son." Venomous replied. Silence fell upon the two once again. Why did Venomous want to talk about his son? Ugh, so many questions that need answers.

"What about him?" She importuned, trying to keep her voice as steady as possible. So far, she's doing great.

"I want to tell him I'm his biological father." Venomous told her.

"How do you suppose your gonna do that?"

"To be quite honest, I'm not entirely sure how to do so." he replied. "When are you gonna tell him this if you don't even know how to tell him?"

"Like I said, I don't know." Venomous state with irritation in his voice.

Casey pulled out her phone to see that it was 12:55 PM. Carol and Eugene would be in this vary room soon at around 1:00 PM. "I think you two should go now." she told him, slightly sad.

"I understand why." Venomous said as he stood up and put up his hood. "Come on, Fink, lets go."

"See you later, Wilting Rose." he said before leaving Casey in the room all by herself.

She looked at the drive and sighed. She put it in a small pouch on her belt, and leaned back in the couch. She closed her eyes and began to fall into deep thought.

How did he know my hero name in P.O.I.N.T? She thought to herself. The sound of the door opening snapped Casey out of her thoughts. She looked up to see it was just Eugene. "Well someone's early." She said with somewhat of a smug smile.

"Well, Carol will be here in a moment. But its just the two of us until she gets here." Mr. Gar stated as he sat down in the same chair Venomous sat in.

Casey was thinking about something. She remembered on how Eugene would look at Carol back when the two were in P.O.I.N.T. He basically had those lovey-dovey eyes towards her. "So, El-Bow," Casey paused, letting a smug grin form on her face. "When are you gonna make your move?"

      "Wh-what are y-you talking about?"

"Don't lie to me. I've seen the way you look at, Carol." She retorted almost bitchingly.

This just caused Gar to stutter like crazy. His face began to heat up and turn a tomato red. He was trying to think of a good comeback, but sadly, he couldn't think of one. Casey just playfully chuckled at this. She stopped when the door opended to reveal Silver-- I mean, Carol Kincaid.

"Hi, Carolyn." She greeted, putting emphasis on the word Carolyn.

"Please stop calling me by my full name." Carol begged as she sat down next to Casey. "Never." Casey said almost evilly.

"So, what did you want us to meet you for?" Carol asked.

"Well, I'm not busy today, so I thought maybe I can spend the day with you people and we can catch up a little." Casey explained. "Sounds good to me." Eugene agreed.

Each of them explained what they've been up to these past few months. Casey cracked some jokes at certain parts of their explanation. They were jokes that could be considered questionable, but Carol and Eugene laughed at the jokes.

Now it was Casey's turn to talk about she has done. "Have you done anything interesting these past months?" Carol asked, crossing her legs.

"Well, I taught my kids how to make snares. Surprisingly, my youngest did better than my eldest. I'm still teaching them the proper way to skin their game, and I'm seeing small signs of progress."

"Noice. How are things in Cinder Valley?" Eugene asked in a bit of curiosity.

"Well, a Beowolf tried to attack, but it got killed way before it could do any real damage." Casey replied, chuckling at the last part.

"Is your youngest daughter doing okay?" Carol asked sympathetically.

"She's doing the best she can. Oh, Eugene, did you notice anything different about one of your employees?" Casey importuned.

      "No, why?"

"Because my children have been training your youngest employee." Casey stated with a small smile on her face.

Eugene was silent for a moment. "Huh, I guess I never really paid too much attention to that." he said.

      "I also noticed something."

      "Like what?"

"That Lord Boxman hasn't been attacking the plaza as much." Casey replied. "I know. Instead of sending a robot yesterday, he sent a Grimm." Carol stated for Gar.

The ground rumbled to something. Probably Boxman sent a robot or one of those creatures again. Casey grabbed her helmet and put it on. They all stepped out of the room and walked outside. They saw Enid, Rad, and K.O ready to face what Lord Boxman sent this time.

When the box opended, instead of revealing a robot or Grimm, it was...a human child? Why did Boxman send an actual child? But Carol, Casey, and Eugene knew this wasn't a normal child.

Casey knew who this child was, and what she was. It was the Black Beast herself, Bete Noire with Kumu by her side.

Also, sorry for chapter 4 having a shitty title. I couldn't think of anything else. I want to clarify that Casey is wearing the outfit from the first book, just so there's no confusion. If anything doesn't make sense just let me know.
