Jane's POV
it is the first day of the victory tour. Effie Trinket's tall, curly hair is pale purple. She's wearing a big and poofy lilac dress that matches her hair, with big puffy sleeves at the shoulders that go down into plain sleeves, adorned with little darker purple bows. since the dress comes just below her knees, and the December weather means cold wind and snow, she's wearing think purple stockings and furry boots with a chunky heel. very undersated for Effie.
my house is full of people helping me get ready for my tv appearance, including my parents.
my stylist from the capitol, Jett has instructed someone with hair as red as a tomato to cur my hair. they pull wet hair over my face like a curtain,cut it near my eyebrows, then, dry it, and curl the ends. Jett puts me in a tight fitted, high necked glittering silver dress with a thin pink belt. i nearly die when i see the shoes, glittery silver with a poited toe and a tall, thin heel.
"you have got to be kidding me." i say.
"why would i be kidding?" Jett says, shaking her head just slightly so that her long and curly purple hair swishes a little bit.
"there's no way i'm going to be able to walk in those."
"just try" and i do. they are very uncomforable and very hard to walk in my ankles wobble and i feel like im going to trip and break my neck.
they put subtle sparkly pink stuff on my eyes, with a shiny silver eyeliner with a big wing. my lips match my belt.
i'll never get used to this
