Jane's POV

So, remember that whole mockingjay thing? yeah, that's still happening.  remember how we were going to fake my death? yeah, that isnt happening anymore. i finally decided to take charge. They need me, i dont need them. I told them faking death was risky, and stupid, and way too complex. 

the leaders of 13 weren't too happy about that, but in the end, we came up with a better plan. 

we were able to sneak out of 12 and into 13 through the woods. Katniss and Gale, who hunt illegally in the woods helped us, them and they're families will be coming into 13 very soon to help with the rebellion. 

i was very surprised to find out that my capitol stylist Jett was working with thirteen, as well as many other capitol citizens. the first order of bussiness was video. we needed videos of me, telling the districts why a rebellion was nesecarry.

ive been outfitted in a dark gray tank top, a black jacket, black pants and combat boots. my natrally wavy hair has been straightened. im wearing mimimal makeup with just a little bit of eyeliner. im standing in front of a metal wall. 

"Citizens of Panem! The Capitol is murdering our children, our friends, our brothers and sisters, and for what reason? to prevent a rebellion. But the Hunger Games have done exactly the opposite of what they were intended to, and we! Are! Rebelling! My name is Jane Walker, Victor of the 73rd Hunger Games, and i am in district 13! Fight with us!"  i hear the camera shut off. "was that good?"

"excellent!" says the capitol woman behind the camera. she has long and wavy blonde hair, and is wearing a shiny orange dress. "im Lana" she says, reaching out to shake my hand

"Jane." i say, shaking her hand

"oh, i know who you are. you're the whole reason im here." 

"really?" 

"yeah. you're amazing, you made me realize everything wrong with the capitol."

"wow" i say, shocked, "i just- wow" this is going to be great.
