Chapter 2: The Call

>Liam's POV<

I was so happy when Molly said she'd call me. I walked to my car with a goofy smile on my face. I get in the car and Niall and Louis are staring at me. "What are you guys staring at?" I asked. "We're staring at you and your huge smile, you dope!" Louis said. "Ok, ok. Whatever.... Molly said she would call me!" I told them. "Good job mate! She's a ringer." Said Niall. "Yea, she is. But unfortunately, she's calling me, Niall, not you." I told him. Niall stuck his tounge out at me and I did the same. "Boys, boys. Stop acting like five year olds! Niall, Molly is calling Liam, not you. Yes, she may be beautiful, but she is more Liam's type anyways." Louis said. "Thank you, Louis!" He nods and I start to pull out of the parking space. I see Molly walk out of Starbucks and I beep the horn. She looks up and I smile and wave. She smiles and waves back and I drive away.

>Molly's POV<

I get up from the table and grab my bag. I know I'm smiling like and idiot but I don't care. I walk out the door and I hear a horn beep. I look up and see Liam waving at me. I wave back and he drives off. I walk to my car and someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn to see my ex boyfriend Matt. I roll my eyes in disgust as he says "Hey babe. Fancy seeing you here." I turn and walk away saying "Shut up, Matt. I don't want to see your face. Leave me alone." He runs over to me and blocks the car door. "Matt, move. I don't wanna hear what you have to say. You dumped me for Laura. I'm done with you!" I almost shout. "Awe, Molly. Don't be like that. You know I love you." He tells me. I kick him in the shin and he falls. "I told you to move Matt. You didn't." I say. I get in the car and turn it on. He gets up and says "I will get you back Molly. You're my one and only!" I roll my eyes and drive away.

>Liam's POV<

I drop Niall and Lou off at the apartment they're renting and go home. When I walk in the door, my cell phone rings. I take it out and its a number I don't recognize. I pick it up. "Hello?" "Liam? It's Molly." It sounded like she was crying. "Molly? Are you ok? What's wrong?" I ask. "I'm sorry for calling you but even though we just met I just needed to hear your voice." "It's absolutely fine. Hey, why don't you come over to my house so we can talk in person?" I tell her. I'm really worried now. "Ok, where do you live?" I tell her the address and she would be here in ten minutes. I really do hope she's ok.

>Molly's POV<

I hate Matt. He makes me so upset. I decide to call Liam. I didn't know who else to talk to. I called him and he told me to come to his house. I said I'd be there in ten minutes. I'm driving and I finally come to this huge house which must be his. I get out of the car and go knock on the door. I'm wiping away some mascara when the door opens. "Molly?! What's wrong?" I start bursting into tears again. He brings me in for a hug and invites me inside. "Ok, Molly. Talk to me here." And then I tell him about Matt.

>Liam's POV<

Molly knocks on my door and she's crying. I give her a hug and have her come inside. I have her sit on the couch. "Ok, Molly. Talk to me here." I say. "Well, last year I had a boyfriend Matt. We were going out for a couple months and I thought he was the one. I was totally wrong. He dumped me for a girl Laura. I was heartbroken. When I was walking to my car from Starbucks, he was there. He told me that he wanted me back and that I was his 'one and only.' I couldn't handle that. So, I called you and here I am." I look at her with sympathy. "Oh, Molly. I'm so sorry. What can I do to help?" She lets a small sob escape. "I just want someone to hold and comfort me right now." She said and looked at me. "Come here, love." I said and held her. She put her head on my shoulder and I put my cheek on her head. I could tell she was sleeping after a while and it was getting late. I shook her gently and she woke up. "Molly?" I said. "Uh huh?" "Its eight thirty at night." She opened her eyes a little more and said "Um, Liam?" "Yea?" "Do you think I could stay here for the night? I just, don't want to be alone tonight..." I looked at her and nodded. I brought her to my room and she laid on my bed. I go to the door but she whispers "No, Liam. Come lay with me please." "Ok, if that's what you want Molly." I tell her. "It is." I go to the bed a lay down. She slides over next to me and I cuddle her in my arms. We fall asleep like that for the rest of the night.
