Chapter 4: Meeting Matt

>Molly's POV<

While on the drive, Liam and I decided that I should stay with him for the week. So, I packed up pretty much all my stuff and brought it back to his car. When I was coming out of the double doors, I see some girls chatting it up with Liam. They were very pretty. I felt pangs of jealousy spread through me. I tell myself to quit it. It was only pretend dating. "I wish it was real though." I said in a whisper with a sigh. I walk over and the girls look up. "Oh, hey Babe. Just talking with some fans. Ladies, this is my gorgeous girlfriend Molly. Molly, meet Sydney and Lidia." He said, gesturing towards me. I had to smile when he said that I was his 'gorgeous girlfriend. The girls smiled at me and waved goodbye to us. I put my things in Liam's trunk and got in the passengers seat. I looked at him and he looked at me. We started driving and I knew this would be the best week ever.

>Liam's POV<

After meeting the fans, we got to driving. Molly looked amazingly cute with the wind blowing her hair. I smiled and thought, "I wish this were real dating." I was really crushing on Molly. But I knew she didn't feel the same way. Molly texted Matt and told him to meet us at the park. It was a fairly warm day today. Which is odd for Wolverhampton. But I'm definately not complaining. Molly spoke up saying "Matt agreed to meet us. Well, me. I didn't bring you into this. Not yet." I nodded, knowing if Matt knew he were meeting me, he would have never come. "Ok, good." I say. She looks at my face and I say "What is it, love?" Molly shrugged and smiled saying "Its just, we just met and I just don't understand why you are doing this for me. You really don't know me." She looked away. We are at the park so I shut the car off and take her chin, turning her face towards me. "Molly, yes we did just meet. But, for some odd reason, it feels like I've known you for forever." When I say this, it brings a smile to her face. "Come on. Let's go show Matt what he is never hurting again." I say and we get out of the car.

>Molly's POV<

Liam made me feel so special! I really did like him. A lot to tell you the truth. So, when we got out of the car, I locked hands with him and snuggled in closer. I spotted Matt sitting on a bench. I point him out and say "Liam, I'm really nervous here. I don't know how he'll react!" I can feel myself shaking but he turns me so I'm facing him. "Molly. Listen to me. You will be fine. If he tries touching you, he will be sorry. I will not let that bastard hurt you again, ok?" I look up at him. "You make me feel so safe, it's crazy." He smiles and takes my hand. We walk over to Matt and he stands up. He notices our hands and sits back down. "Molly? Who is he?" He asks. "I'm Liam. Molly's boyfriend. And you must be Matt." Liam holds out his hand. Matt just stares at me the whole time with mixed emotions going across his face. "Matt? Are you-" I'm cut off by him practically shouting. "What the hell Molly! I thought I made my point when I told you you were my one and only! Now you went and found some British dude." Matt wasn't upset. He was furious. Liam put an arm in front of me for protection. I knew this wasn't going to be good.

>Liam's POV<

When Matt started yelling at Molly I wanted nothing more then to punch him. I put my arm in front of her and said "Matt, calm down. I'm Molly's boyfriend now. Not you. Now, I don't want you bothering her anymore. If you do, let's just say I have a boxing license." "I don't freaking care about your boxing license and I certainly don't care that you are Molly's new boyfriend. I told Molly that I loved her. But now that I know she is trash and totally worthless I-" I saw Molly start to cry when he said that. I punched him right in the stomach and he went down. I kneeled down next to him and said "Now, you listen to me this time. You are to never call my girlfriend those things again. You are to never speak to her or touch her or even look at her. She is MY one and only, and if you don't like it, then I don't care." I stood up and put my arm around Molly's waist. She cuddled up to me and we walked back to the car.

>Molly's POV<

I can't believe Matt you say something like that. He used to be so sweet. Tears were falling from my eyes and when Liam noticed he punched Matt in the stomach! It caught me off guard. Matt fell and Liam got down and started whispering something to him. I didn't care what but when Liam stood up, I cuddled closer to his side and we walked away. I felt so safe with him. He was so sweet and caring. We got to the car and I just cried. Liam hugged me and stroked my hair. "Molly? Love, look at me." I looked up into his eyes. "I am always going to protect you. No matter what. Remember that ok?" I nodded my head. "Ok Liam. I'll remember." He started driving and I just looked out the window thinking about how Liam was turning out to be my knight and shining armour.

>Liam's POV<

I will protect Molly if it's the last thing I do. I will always be there for her, whatever the pain. Molly was staring out the window so I took her hand and linked our fingers together. She didn't turn to face me but I saw the corner of her mouth turn up. I smiled. I think it's time to tell Molly how I feel. This whole situation brought us closer. "Ok, Liam. Its time to get a grip and tell her." I think to myself. We finally get home and I go around the car to open the door for her. I take her hand and we go inside. She sits on the couch while I

order Chinese food. "Molly? Are you ok hun?" I ask her. "I think so. How's your hand? You punched Matt pretty hard." She kind of smirked when she said that last part. "It's ok. Doesn't feel the best right now. But whatever the pain, I will protect you Molly." I see a tear escape from her eye. I walk over and sit next to her. She lays her head on my chest. Its now or never. "Molly? I have to tell you something. Its about our whole "relationship." You see, I like you. More than a friend. I have had a crush on you since the day we met at Starbucks. I know this is all so sudden, but I just couldn't-" She cut me off by kissing my softly. She leans back and smiles. "Liam, I have had a crush on you since I looked into your eyes. I feel the same way. I just didn't know how-" I cut her off by kissing her this time. We both laughed softly. "So.. are we official?" I ask her. "Yes, Liam. Yes we are." I smiled and I knew I looked like an idiot. I didn't care though because I knew I had my princess for real this time!
