Nico drifted into the kitchen. His black shadow trailed behind him like an unknown stalker. He scanned the room for anyone then stepped inside. The darkness around him made him calmer and he relaxed a little bit. The ship rocked slightly back and forth in the midnight air.

This was his kind of world.

Shadows danced across the walls, trying despratly to get to his stygion iron sword. In result of that, the shadows bent around him like a bubble. Nico's feet brushed the floor silently as he walked forward. His hands were deep in his avator jacket and his dark hair covered his eyes.

Nico could have been a shadow himself.

Until he stepped on something.

"YEEEEOOOOOOWWW!!!" He exclaimed, grabbing his bare foot. He cursed at the floor when he saw what it was.

It was a lego.

Nico scowled at the little brick and he picked it up. It was yellow and plain as can be. It was a two by three brick, and Nico studied it closely.

"What in hades...?" he muttered. He set the brick on the counter and saw a pile of lego bricks in the center of the bar. He walked over, careful not to step on any more of the devilish spiky bricks.

Nico sat on a bar stool and began fiddling with the bricks. It had been forever since he had seen them. The shape the bricks made was sort of a circle, like a basketball that had gotten turned pixilated. Nico picked it up and turned it in his hands.

"What is this doing here..?" he asked himself. Nico set it back on the counter and picked up a large, green, flat piece. It would work for what he needed. Nico picked up legos from the extra pile of bricks and began to build.

---TIME LAPSE----

.

Leo yawned and rubbed his eyes. Man, driving for almost the whole night was hard. The wheel was getting sweaty from his palms gripping it so tightly. He looked over at Frank, who as on duty with him for the night. Frank's face was hard, as if he were concentrating hard on something.

"What's wrong?" Leo asked. Frank shook his head.

"Nothing... I just thought I heard something." Leo furrowed his eyebrows.

"It could be something," he insisted. Frank sighed and nodded. In the next few seconds, he transformed into a dog. A pug, at that. His hears twitched as he listened closely.

"Do you hear anything?" Leo questioned, straining to listen as well. Frank's ears turned toward the stairwell and he growled. Leo flipped the ship into auto pilot and crept toward the stairs. Frank morphed into a wolf and quietly jumped to the bottom of the stairs. Leo scowled.

"Show off..." He muttered.

Leo followed Wolf Frank toward the lounge area. The room was dark and cold, but Frank growled at it. Leo stepped into the room and flipped the light on.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Someone screamed.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Leo screamed.

"OOOOOOOOWWWWHHH!!!!" Frank howled, which Leo guessed was his scream.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!" Leo exclaimed. Nico's face went beat red as both Frank and Leo looked his gigantic Empire State building up and down.

"Nothing..." Nico muttered, looking at the floor. Frank stepped forward and morphed back into his normal self. He walked over to the toy structure.

"This is amazing... How did you do it?" Nico shrugged.

"I used to play with them when I was young," he replied quietly. "I was obsessed with them before myth-o-magic..." Leo stolled over and leaned across the counter, examining the structure.

"This is amazing... Anybody who can build a stucture the size of me has my respect." Frank gave him a look.

"Are you calling yourself short?" he asked. Nico bit back a smile.

"No, I'm not!" Leo protested. Frank rolled his eyes sarcaticly.

"Of course... How would I make that mistake?"

While Frank and Leo were talking, Nico slowly stood and stepped backward toward the door. Thanks to not having shoes on, he was able to do it silently.

"Oh, ha ha. Laugh it up, bulldog," Leo said. He turned back toward Nico, but he was gone. "Hey," he said. "where'd he go?" Frank sighed.

"It doesn't matter. What does matter is what we do with this." He gestured toward the lego Empire state building.

Neither Leo or Frank had any idea what to do with it.
