Maeve sat in the library, reading some history books about the history and influences of vampires through the years. The history that the Volturi made sure was removed from the history books of humans. Maeve read about the Volturi and their wars and influences throughout the centuries and foubd it quite intresting. She was so far in the book that she hadn't noticed someone else entering the library.

"So, what is so special about you, huh?" Maeve jumped up slightly and looked up to see Alec sitting on the chair across from her. "Jumpy much?" Alec said with a smirk layed on his lips. "No. You just caught me off guard." Maeve said not looking at him. "And I have no clue what is special about me." Alec chuckled and looked at the book she was reading. "You like history books?" "Yes. I mean, I have only been around for about 500 years so I have seen much but not that much." Maeve said "Hmm. It wasn't that intresting. Mostly humans fighting for power as they have been doing since their existence." Alec said. "Are you that old? Time seems nice on you." Maeve joked but quickly shot her mouth, affraid she might have insulted him. But Alec chuckled. "Yes. I guess it has been." And then it became quiet again. Maeve continued to read the book while Alec watched her every move, which made Maeve quite uncomfortable. She sighed and closed the book to return it to the shelf. "Done reading already?" Alec asked watching her. "Yes. Have a good day." Maeve said before leaving the library to go to her room, to once again look at the humans who have freedom to go and do whatever they please.

"Mission time." Jane said entering Maeve's toon without knocking. "Alright." Maeve said as she pulled her cloak on and made her way to the throne room. Once entering she saw the usual guard standing infront of the thrones which where occupied by Caius, Marcus and Aro. "Masters." Maeve said as she bowed. "Ah. My dear Maeve. It is time for your first mission. You are going with Felix, Demetri, Jane and Alec to Greece. Vampires have gone and made a bloodbath and stories are being spread. Kill the vampires and any human who knows. Goodluck my children." Aro said. The five guards bowed to their Masters before making their way out. Maeve pulled her hood over her head and followed the others to greece. Maece felt sick to her stumache. She didn't wanted to kill vampires without them attacking her. That was what the Volturi did not her! But soon reality hit her as she knew she was part of the Volturi now. For all eternity.

Soon they had reached the place where the other vampires had shed a bloodbath. Many corpses where still laying, completely drained fron their blood. "What a mess." Demetri said, scrunching his nose up. Felix hissed slightly in agreement and annoyance. "People might doubt the Volturi's effectiveness." "And we can not have that." Jane finished. And, as it seemed on que, about twenty vanpires approached the five guards. "The Volturi has no business here! Leave!" A male said approaching th five guards, ready to attack at any time. Jane glared at him and the man fell down to the ground, screaming in pain. Many of the vampires hissed and growled but none dared to attack, affraid of ehat other powers the other guards would posses. "Felix, Demetri." Jane said. Both men nodded their heads and approached the man whom was panting fron the pain that was just relieved. Felix and Demetri killed the man and burned his body. The other nineteen vampjres growled and started the attack, which lead the four Volturi guard members to smirk. They lived to fight fights they knew they would win. Maeve sighed and also started to attack, knowing very well that the other vampires wouldn't thunk twice to kill her and neither would she.

Soon enough it was over. The vampires bodies where burning on a pile along with twenty humans who knew too much. Maeve watched the fire burn and sighed. She knew it had to be done, so no human would try to attack us and our kind could live in peace, but it still didn't feel right. Maeve was sure this would never feel right.
