Meghna was on her way to the hostel. So was Naina. It's up to you to call it her bad luck or good luck because Naina's cab broke down on the way. The car moved to and fro for sometime and stopped in the middle of the road.
Naina looked up ahead, there was no traffic, so she asked the driver," Bhaiya(brother), what happened?"
Driver looked ahead with a worried and embarrassed look on his face. He replied, "Madam I guess the car has stopped working. There must be some problem with the engine. I'll have to go and check."
And he jumped out of the car and hurried forward. He opened the bonnet. He looked around. He had no clue about its working and he couldn't tell her. She is his first customer of the day, he didn't want her walk away disappointed. And sadly he won't get any pay.
Naina didn't wait. As the diver got out. She too walked out to have a look at it. The driver saw her come out and spoke," Madam you can sit inside and wait. I'll make it alright." But Naina walked forward and looked in. And there, she spotted the problem immediately.
Naina told him," Bhaiyya! Look at this! See this wire is broken! You will have to call a mechanic here for it." Now this worried the driver. Today, instead of getting his pay, he would have to pay! Naina pulled out her handbag out and dug in. She picked up some money from her purse and handed it over to him.
"Take this money. You can use this to repair your car" she smiled as her generosity shone brightly.
He took the money she offered and joined his hands in front her, in respect and thankfulness. She pushed his palm down and said," What are you doing Bhaiyya? How can you join your hands in front of me? I just called you bhaiyya... tell me why would an elder brother join hands in front of a younger sister?"
The man's eyes filled up with tears of happiness. He thanked her.
They suddenly heard a car honking. They shut the bonnet and looked behind the back the cab and found a car waiting behind it.
The young man at the back seat sounded annoyed as hell. He spoke up," Now why have you stopped the car here? What is it now?"
The driver replied in a lower voice," That car in front of us is not moving. I will get down and check."
Karan frowned,"Oh god! i hate this..." He didn't wait for even a second, he jumped out of the car to have a look at the problem. As soon as he got down walked forward he noticed a girl, talking to the cab driver and taking the luggage out of the cab.
He walked towards them. He was curious as she was facing her back towards him. He noticed that he was now standing right behind her, just a few inches away. He noticed her long silky black hair enjoying the breeze.he was lost in some other world.
He came back to his sense as he heard his driver talk. Actually he screamed so that Karan would notice that his driver was a responsible driver too. See, what and all the driver has to do, just to show that he is also is a good driver.
"OYE!! Who parks their car in the middle of the road? How dare you?"
The cab driver got irritated by the other driver's harsh tone. So he shouted back," Oye! Who are you to shout at me like that?"
Before the other driver replied back. Naina stopped them and spoke,"actually the cab broke down in the middle of the road, unexpectedly. So it's no one's fault. If you could help us we could actually push the car aside"
Her voice sounded like birds chirping. Karan couldn't wait to see who she was.
"Excuse me.." he said.
