Aise Kaise Jaane Doon?

Episode #8

To all the Nairan lovers, I came across this video recently and loved the work done by the person... (I don't own the above video) It immediately brought a smile onto my face. Do check out and tell me what you feel about it.

Naina walked into the college with a huge smile just after she ended the conversation with her sister through her phone. She walked past the small garden that was right in the centre of the campus. It had few structures like that of a cut bark of a tree, placed in clusters in several points in this garden. She was stopped by a loud call.

Naina turned around to look it was Sanjana, her new friend. the entire gang was seated on the bark like structure in the garden. Radhika smiled at her friend Naina and gestured her to come over and sit next to her on the free bark.

As soon as Naina placed herself on the bark, Sanjana wasted no time in barking at Naina for her 'bad deeds'.

"Naina ! Why were you sitting next to that Karan? What if someone saw you sitting along with that guy?"

Naina sat there in confusion,"Huh?..I just sat with him.. What's the big deal? He doesn't seem like a murderer to me.. besides I felt like he was unnecessarily being sidelined by the entire college and I didn't find that to be right. And when I saw him sitting alone there, I thought it would be great to let him know that I could be his friend unlike the rest. So I went ahead to speak to him, he thought i was faking concern so he told me that he was not going to have food at all since I asked! So I...." her friends weren't convinced of course.
She was interrupted.
Merlin said with a little irritation, "So you sat there to feed him is it?"

As Naina had started justifying her reason for sitting next to Karan; there was a pair of ears that received her justification apart from her gang. the person stopped dead in his steps.

Radhika immediately stood up to defend her dear friend, Naina, "Shut up guys stop overreacting over such a petty issue!"

Sanjana raised her hand and stopped Radhika, "Radhika you aren't getting it. Naina joined recently and she has a very good reputation and she is all set to spoil it." She said before turning to Naina and continuing, "See.. Naina, you are new here. You should understand that Reputation matters a lot... and you must go along with stream. If you walk out of the stream then you lose a lot of things. In the idea of becoming a hero and saving that jerk will land you in a very deep pit along with him."

Merlin added her comment, "There are many boys in this college and you only found only Karan, out of all , to give your company?"

Naina still looked confused and shocked at their level of thought, "What are you all saying? What's wrong if I give Karan a company? Isn't he a human,too? And I don't find him to be a jerk, in the first place. Also, I have no idea of becoming any Hero! I'm just trying to be a good friend with him. And I'm sorry.. unlike you, reputation is something I'm least cared about while making friends. I look at the beautiful heart they carry..."
Merlin interrupted her once again, "Naina, You are being dumb! listen to us. He is a jerk. He is a loser for life. He doesn't even know how to behave."
Naina gave Merlin a disgusted look, "Seriously?"

She just found all of this ridiculous. Radhika stated her support for Naina, "Girls! stop all of this. Naina is doing what is right. Merlin, none of us have any idea what exactly he is..."

Naina was puffed up in anger, "And you know what? if you both don't know anything about him then you simply have no right to talk shit like this about him!" She shouted and walked away.

The pair of ears that heard her felt it all like a dream. The pair of eyes filled with tears and the person's feet felt it's ground unstable. the person who had been listening to conversation trembled forward walking towards the building ahead, wiping away the tears that flowed down the cheeks.
