How can I not love you? (Student/Teacher)

I was about to go home when Brandon asked me if I wanted to come with him and the rest to the mall and just hang out there. I decided to tag along even though I didn't feel like it. But I needed to make friends and this is the perfect opportunity.

"So Josephine, where do you come from if I may ask?" Brandon asks when we walk into the mall.

"Orlando, we moved here for my moms job, dad is a pilot, no I don't like moving here but I'll be fine." I say quickly trying to avoid more questions.

"Why you dont like moving here? I mean now you met me, I'm amazing."

I laughed. "Yeah that's true, you make it so much easier." I say sarcastically

"No without joking, I totally understand how fucking screwed up it is to move. Especially to a whole different country. I just hope you'll like it here more soon."

I smiled and walked over to the bench Demi, Thalia and Rylee were sitting. "So you and Brandon huh?" Thalia says when I sit down.

I laughed "Nah, he's not my type. He is very handsome though."

"Yeah he sure is, but he's a difficult guy to handel in a relationship." Rylee said. "We've been together for almost a year but it didn't work out. He was so jealous that all we did was fight."

"Yeah we've heard the story already. Anyway Jospehine, tonight we're throwing a surpriseparty for Suzanne. Would you like to come?" Demi interrupts.

"On a school night? Oh well my mom won't be home anyway Yes sure, I'd like that. But don't you think Suzanne thinks its weird I'll be there, we've just met yesterday."

"Oh she probably doesn't like it anyway. She hates party's but we just wanted to do something special for her. Give me your number and then we'll pick you up at 8."

I gave her my number and left early saying goodbye to everyone. I still needed to buy some flowers for Mr. and Mrs. Hale for letting me stay there.

With the flowers in my hand I walked over to Mr and Mrs Hale's house and knocked on the door. Mrs. Hale opened it "Hi Mrs Hale, I just wanted to thank you guys again I really liked it." I say as I handed over the flowers.

"Oh sweetheart, you didn't have to do that. Would you like to come in and have dinner with us? I see your mom's nor your dad's car is here yet?" She says. I sighed reliefed cause I really didn't feel like eating alone.
"Yeah I'd love that, thank you so much Mrs. Hale."

"Oh please call me Wendy."

I smiled at her and walked inside. "Miss Wester, I didn't expect you to see here tonight." I hear a familiar voice say from behind me. I turned around and saw it was Dr. Hale. "Oh yeah, I came to bring some flowers as a last thank you for yesterday and Wendy asked me to stay for dinner."

"Well, make yourself at home I'll set up the table." Dr. Hale said.

"Wait, I can help." I said as I walked after him.

"So your parents aren't home much I noticed."

"No, my mom is head of this new department in a hospital and my dad is a pilot. Both very busy jobs so yeah I'm mostly alone."

"Well thats fucked up. I know it might sound weird as I'm your teacher and all but you can always come over if something is wrong or you just need some company. My parents are gonna move out in 2 days too so I got the house all to myself." He said while putting his hand on my arm.

I blushed. I don't know why but he and his parents are just so nice to me.

It was already 7PM and Demi was gonna pick me up in an hour.

'Thank you so much for dinner but I have to go home now." I said to Wendy
"Ofcourse hun, it was nice having you around again. Daniel will you walk her out please."

I walked to the door with Dr. Hale behind me. "Now get out of my house before my mom will let you live here." Dr. Hale said laughing. "You got any plans tonight?"

"Yeah I got invited to this party and Demi is gonna pick me up in an hour. I'd loved to stay longer but I really need to fix my face and all." I replied.

"Oh please, you look beautiful. You don't need all that make up."

I blushed. "Thanks." And I walked out of the door.

I was finally done with renovating myself. I had my hair curled and was wearing this lacy red top on a black skirt with red heels. In my clutch I had my fake-ID, just in case, my phone and some money.

My mom nor my dad were home yet and I didn't feel like writing them a note. I heared a car pulling up in the driveway and walked outside to step in the car. Demi, Rylee and Brandon were already in. I stepped into the backseat next to Brandon.

"Wow, you look beautiful." Brandon said when I sat down. I smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek, not really knowing why but I just thought it would be nice.
"So where are we going?" I said to avoid any kind of questions about that kiss.

"Well we're going to Lux! Its one of the biggest clubs here. Thalia and Wesley are gonna pick up Suzanne."

"I'm sure you'll get all the men after you tonight looking like that. You look hot as hell" Rylee said.

We pulled up into the parking lot of the club and stepped out of the car, walking over to the door. Demi whispered something into the guards ear and he let us in. I immediately heard the loud music and saw a huge club with vip-decks on the sides, an dj-booth in front with two dancers and a bar just below the booth.

This was gonna be a fun night.
