The scratched knee and pale body. Poor little girl, that's what always run on the people's mind for seeing the helpless brunette on trying to kick some balls.

No, not that kind of balls gosh you dirty human. What was meant is the ball of Soccer. The game where no hands is allowed on touching that round object. Ofcourse you know what that is.

First day of try outs and Beca Mitchell the girl with glasses on is still trying to join the Barden University soccer Team or what they call as the Bellas.

The last year of having the chance to actually play Soccer. "I should've brought my knee pads", she mumbled to herself after wincing at the scratch her knee got. This was because of having to try and kick a ball to the net only to forget lacing one of her shoelace making her drop badly to the ground.

"You should ditch the glasses before you break them", the voice of a perfect angel. Beca looked up and saw the weird smile she'd been avoiding all day. "Come here", he lend out a hand for the brunette to grab.

"So much for being part of the team", she dusted out the dirt of her sports attire which wasn't exactly appropriate for these kinds of activities. But then hey? Why would she even bother buying a real attire for it if she didn't exactly get to use them occasionally.

"You okay there weirdo?", he said with a chuckle looking at the frustrated girl in front of him.

"Yeah I'm fine Jess", she let out a sigh and looked at the guy raising both of her eyebrows. "I think I'm gonna need to try again tomorrow. I've been killing myself slowly with these blood fluid oozing out of my precious body which is genetically not engineered for this kind of activity", Jesse started to see what's happening.

"Beca-",

"But then there's my brain saying I should and my heart? Yes it needs to do just one job.", she kept ranting out and Jesse was opening his mouth to say something but he can't say a single word.

"Just one Job", she flew her hands out "To fucking pump blood but then nooo it always say I should play this sports", she brought her hands on her head and exhaled loudly.

The field was crowded with the team players and those who are still auditioning. Beca saw how good they were and she sighed. "This is not gonna happen", she shook her head.

Something caught Jesse's attention or maybe someone. The blonde girl with rosy lips and perfect body. "Damn", he whispered, he stared at her as she was passing by and cleared his throat. "Hey Aubrey you look so-", the blonde just passed by him and kept talking to her tall brunette friend.

"So damn oblivious of everything", he finished and groans annoyingly. "You're the reason of this Mitchell", he pointed to the girl who just grabbed her bag and started walking away.

"Uh-huh", she says nonchalantly and fixed herself. Nodding carelessly to her friend.

"You've dragged me down to your annoying nerdiness", he said clutching his backpack. "Why are we even friends".

"Because we live in the same house dumbass and with Aubrey Posen? That's all your fault", she chuckled as she stopped in front of her locker. Jesse recklessly leaned his shoulder to the metal still facing Beca with a raised eyebrow.

"And why do you say so my dear housemate?", he said dramatically making the girl laugh a little.

"You're weird", she shrugged putting in the books she didn't need. A scoff from Jesse was all she heard.

"No I'm not", he said to himself.

"Let's go home Jess", Beca said and fixed her square glasses while clutching her bag.
