"W-what do you want?", he stuttered making Beca smirk under her mask. Beca pulled him out by his collar and stood him up to this dark street they were in.

"I'm a friend of Chloe's", she said and the guy clenched his jaws. "And I've seen some horrible bruises on her body. Do you know who've done it?", she crossed her arms and the man looked away.

"No", he answered simply. Making SpiderGirl scoff.

"Really? You know what I really hate?", she walked forward to the guy making him back up and hit his back to the car's edge. "Liars", she whispered making the guy gulped in fear of what a single girl could do to her.

"Why do you care that much huh? You like her SpiderGirl?", he mocked and Beca just shrugged.

"Maybe", she said softly. "That's why I'm telling you", she whispered making the guy afraid of the distance they were having. A sudden blow on his stomach was landed making him cough in pain. "Never. Touch. Her. Again", with every word she landed a punch to his face making him fall to the ground. "I'm not one who hurt the innocent but News Flash you deserve it", she said coldly and grabbed him up by his collar again making him stop although his feet couldn't keep him up.

She pushed him back inside the car and lowered her head inside once again. "If I were you? I would stay in jail because once I hear that Chloe had received any more hits from you? I swear Mr. Beale I will be the one that will end you once and for all", the coldness laced in her voice as the guy slightly shiver in fear.

"Chloe are you sure you're okay? I mean you got hit pretty hard", Chloe knew that Stacie was just worrying about her and she understood that.

"Yes Stace. I don't want to stay in a damn hospital. I'd rather go to school", the redhead said and Stacie sighed before nodding.

"We still need to find Beca that midget better show up this instant or I will-" Aubrey ranted but was cut off when the door opened making them flick their attention to whoever came in.

"You will what?", Beca came in with a casual outfit. "Sorry I ran out I was just-", this time the brunette was cut off by a hug that Chloe wrapped around her small body. She didn't know she was so tired until she eased up with the warm embrace she was in.

"Don't you dare leave like that again", Chloe's words sounded hurt and Beca was guilty that she didn't even had time to think that leaving them can get them hurt. Chloe rested her head on Beca's shoulder and the small brunette rubbed her back to tell that everything is ok.

Her steel blue eyes landed to the three other people that was staring at them. She laughed softly when Aubrey specifically signaled that she's so dead for leaving them just like that. A soft smile from Stacie that sure had the feature of worry flashing on her face.

Jesse just breathe out and looked to the window, he was so stressed with everything that has happened.

"Let's go home?", Beca pulled away gently and just remembered the bruise that was on Chloe's face. "Jesus", she whispered under her breath as she lifted her hand to Chloe's cheek. The redhead tensed a bit but soon calm down when she was gently caressing it.

The other three had gone out with Jesse and Aubrey hand in hand together while Stacie was close behind. Beca could sense the jealousy on the room and she sure hope the tall brunette is okay.

"I promise no one will ever hurt you again", she said softly and Chloe smiled warmly as she leaned in. Placing a chaste kiss on Beca's lips. The small brunette missed those lips and she could never ask for more.

"Now I got two Superheroes", Chloe giggled making Beca jump inside hearing that cute voice. She started to act offended making Chloe giggle more.

"Two?", she gasped fakely. "Who is that bastard that thinks he can be your superhero?", she pouts and Chloe didn't see her do that before it was a cute look on her.

"It's a she babe", she kissed the pout on Beca's lips and grabbed the girl out of the room. Beca smiled knowing who she was talking about.

They got home safe and Aubrey was coming by at their house just because Jesse invited her. On the other hand Beca was still insisting that Chloe should sleep at their house as well since no one is with her at her own house.

"Beca I told you it's fine", she said and making the brunette more frustrated. "I'll call when I need something. I promise that", she said pinching Beca's cheeks.

"Ugh fine", she finally gave up and had let the girl walk in to her house. While she was still unsure wether to go back home or stay at Chloe's. Before she can decide she was already called by Jesse on their front door.

She walked lazily towards the guy and Jesse had pulled her towards the garage. "So what happened?", he directly asks which made Beca confused on what he was asking. "I know you went after Green Goblin and you came back unbruised so what happened?", he reiterated.

"You were right", Beca shrugged. "He doesn't know where the missing piece is so let's keep it that way", she said nodding. "I still think that we need to find it so we have the advantage to guard it incase he will eventually find that gem", she explained and Jesse wasn't so sure about it.

"I guess you're right but I don't think it's a good idea for us to find it. Maybe instead of guarding it we will be leading him right to it", Jesse stated making Beca get her point.

"So what should we do?", she asked and Jesse shrugged.

"Live our daily lives". He simply answered.

It's a bit short cuz I'm kinda busy it makes me sad not having to read and write in wattpad:( i'll still make time updating however 💖
