°chapter 14

(a/n: i'm thinking of making a chapter of minhyuk being jealous since we're now currently in jealousy era amirite 👀)

"minhyuk-ah!" i saw him; waiting on the wooden bridge over the small lake and i jogged towards him. without me knowing my lips had already turned upwards because of the feeling of excitement grew in me only after seeing minhyuk's figure.

both of us stood in front of each other and smiled before he made a move by ruffling my hair that i spent three minutes styling. i got kinda annoyed and scolded him "YAH!" instead of him being scared, all i earned was a laugh as he did it again.

"so... what do you wanna do first?"

minhyuk shrugged off, "i don't know...."

"but, as long as i'm with you, i don't mind"

"ok minhyuk ok"

we decided to go to the nearest café and ordered our drinks. later that, we went to sit down at the empty table which right besides the clear walls, we got to see the very nice view of the outside heh.

"i think the minmin's cafe drinks are muc-" i didn't even get to finish my sentence when minhyuk in a speed of lightning covered my mouth in panicked.

"shushhh! you're gonna triggered them especially the one who made that iced chocolate for you" he explained.

i gasped, not realising about it "sorryyy"

well, even if i did say it, i just really hope that no one actually overheard me and especially the workers around here.

giggling sheepishly, i went back to drink my iced chocolate when i stop once again after seeing someone familiar about to walk past our table. "oh! kihyun-ah, what are you doing here?"

kihyun who was just done ordering his iced americano and with a slice of red velvet cake, looked back at both of us, looking not surprised that we're here.

"swimming. of course i'm here to hang out"

"by yourself?"

kihyun nonchalantly nodded and looked around him then turned back to us " does it look like i have anyone else with me right now? no right?"

minhyuk and i rolled our eyes.

"instead of hanging out by yourself, why don't you sit here with us?.... it's okay for you right minhyuk?" looking at minhyuk, whose face remained blank before slightly nodded his head. i smiled widely and automatically patted the seat beside me.

the three of us began chatting some random stuff but mostly it was just me and kihyun who was spilling all the juicy topics about other people in our school while minhyuk sat there while sipping onto his vanilla latte, listening to our conversations. he was rather oddly quiet. weird.

after kihyun left, both of us decided to go back to the park where we were before and went strolling around there for a while.

rotating my head to minhyuk, i observed him for a second, the things was he didn't even bother to look at me. not even a single glance. me, feeling confused and guilty, averted my gaze facing the ground.

i silently huffed and puckered the lips of mine as i was rewinding back if i had done something wrong that made him like this.

like not usual, he wasn't being clingy to me.

"is he always so close to you?"

"h-huh?" i looked at him in confusion.

"no, it's just that- you guys were having too much fun chatting with each other until it made me look like I'm the third wheeler"

"you could've told me that earlier?"

"but i don't want to ruin your moment though,,, you looked extremely comfortable chatting with kihyun that i decided to stayed silent and watches you guys only"

"i wish it was me the one who were chatting with you like that, because then i can get to see your laughs a lot" he mumbled looking down the ground.

i laughed at his words.

"he's just a very close friend, minhyuk. you know that well right? therefore, kihyun and i will never going to be more than that. because.... i have you"

he sighed and sped his pace.

"YAHH minhyuk-ah!! what the hell??"

he kept on walking with his long ass legs, pretending he didn't hear anything from me even though i was yelling louder and louder. i was kinda left behind and tried catching up onto him even though my legs are shorter. This guy know my weakness.

"yahh~!! don't leave me behind!!"

"CaLL mE OpPA FiRST"

"aRe YOu KiDDInG ME iDIoT??"
