"are you guys excited for this holiday??" our easy going lecturer whose called mr. kim chirped while looking at us excitedly.

"YESSS" the class cheerfully replied, including me. i can't wait to go back to my hometown in gwangju and meet my family after a long time being far away from them.

"since you have so many days of just enjoying around, why not giving you guys some assignments to do for the whole four weeks?" mr. kim said, smirking as we started to groan and frown in dissatisfied.

"noona!! wake up, mom's done making us breakfast" i slightly groaned, feeling annoyed by my little brother's voice as attempting on sleeping back again.

i was actually already awake by the sound of him opening the door and also with that annoying voice shouting 'wake up wake up!!' repeatedly in my eardrums.

by the way; my brother's name is choi hanseol and he's an immature 16 year old kid. pranking and making people surrounded him annoyed by him was part of his hobby besides playing basketball.

besides that, he also has a pretty face which lead him to having many fangirls in his school. i became his victim throughout the whole my high school year. the girls would always handed me the gifts that they're supposed to give to my brother since they're too shy to give it to him.

ok enough talking about him and back to the story should we.

i swear to god this kid would never ever let me sleep in peace FOR ONCE.

"ahhh~ hanseol-ah, please. give noona five more minutess~" i replied in a whiny voice.

"ok fine then, within that five minutes, i'll be eating your waffles"

waffles? boi don't you effin dare.

after the mention of waffles, i quickly sat straight up and shot a death glare at my little brother, who had a smug look all around his face. he better get out of my sight before i punch that pretty face of him.

"hurry up, go wash up yourself" he emotionless said and left the room.

"there's gonna be guests visiting us this evening, so if you would go change into something nice, that'll be great" my mom said as she walked out of her room and immediately look at me, who was sitting on the sofa.

i was watching a tv show with my brother.

"what? mom~ i look nice already like this"

my brother laughed, earning a hard smack from me on his arm then winced in pain.

"who's the guests that would be visiting us though?" i questioned out of curiosity.

"a family whom we were close with"

i definitely have no clue who they are.
