"it's okayyy. yahh, we still have a chance since we're in the same city so let's meet each other tomorrow then?"

"hmm, okay~!" minhyuk chirped with a wide smile plastered on his lips as he was ending the phone call.

as he was hanging up the phone, a feminine voice of laughter filled inside the car, "is that how you talk with your girlfriend?"

his mom sneered, glancing back at him.

minhyuk's nose scrunched; feeling annoyed of his mom's tease, "MOM!!"

the mom kept on laughing while her husband who was driving the car also joined her.

"ahhh, how cute" minhyuk's mom chuckled as she lightly shook her head.

minhyuk crossed his arms and quickly turned his head towards the window, looking at the view outside of it.

minhyuk's dad pulled up his car, as they stopped right in front of a two-story house.

minhyuk looked at his dad and asked, "is this the house?"

"yUp!" his mom butted in between them and excitedly get out of the car.

what the heck mom.

he looked around and the neighborhood seemed absolutely nice to him. the area was very calming and peaceful. everything was perfect.

they went up to the front door, after ringing the bell twice, the door opened. revealing a woman maybe around her 40's.

"ack! leejin!!" minhyuk's mom loudly said and wrapped her arms around the woman.

the woman, who it seemed like to be the friend of minhyuk's mom hugged her back. both of them, the dad and minhyuk, stood there awkwardly as his mom and her friend were having their moments.

the woman then came to realise that the family were still outside the house, so she smiled in apologetic while rubbing at the back of her neck, "sorry for making you standing outside. come in" she invited.

they went to the living room and were sitting on the sofas, making themselves comfortable just like 'leejin' told them to.

minhyuk's dad went straight heading to the backyard as soon as he saw a friend of him. (minhyuk's mom's friend's husband)

while his mom were having a small chitchat with mrs. choi. his mom gazes suddenly went to minhyuk and they made an eye contact. he looked at his mom in confused and mouthed "what?"

she then smiled before averting her gaze back to the woman. "by the way, leejin-ah, this is minhyuk, my son. do you still remember him?"

"oh my god, are you serious right now? this is minhyuk?" her eyes widened in surprise, covering that mouth of her with her hands.

"annyeonghaseyo auntie" minhyuk automatically stood up from the sofa and bowed 90 degress at her.

"aigoo!! such a good man. you've turned out to be way more handsome now" after receiving such a compliment, he laughed embarrassingly. i KnOW.

"yah, where's your daughter? she also must have gotten prettier like her mother" mrs. lee said, making the friend rolled her eyes.

"pft, i don't think so" a bits of laugh escaped her lips while denying what minhyuk's mom just said.

"sweetie!! stop playing with your damn phone and come down, the guests are here" her eyes was gazing at the stairs as she yelled to her daughter supposedly.

"oh, annyeonghaseyo!" a teenage boy who just walked out of nowhere, came and bowed formally to the guests.

"is that your son?" mrs. lee bluntly asked and her friend simply nodded.

"YOU HAD ANOTHER CHILD BESIDES HARU WITHOUT TELLING ME??"

is she even my mom?

the woman rolled her eyes.

"oh, there she is"

"why are you just standing there? come on here and greet them properly" mrs. choi said while signalling her daughter.

minhyuk began turning his head to mrs. choi daughter and widened his eyes. seeing someone that he wasn't expected to see.

"HARU???"

"m-minhyuk..."

"oh? so you guys remembered each other? i thought you both didn't, because you know....you guys haven't met for years"

"what?" haru and minhyuk said in unison as both of them looked at his mom.

"you don't...?- wait. hyuk-ah, isn't she your girlfriend...?"

"she is... but what do you mean by we remembered each other?"
