''Kuro! I need to tell Kuro.'' I shakily pick up my phone and dial my brother's number. I tell him everything and we hang up. ''So?'' Shinku asks shifting in his seat. ''He is taking the next flight home. He should be here tomorrow before night time. I told him that I was staying at my friend's house.'' I reply looking down and holding my bag tighter to me. We arrive at Shinku's house and his servants take my bag. I slowly get out of the car and walk next to him, my hands are shaky. ''Come, this way.'' His guard says opening the doors and we walk further into his house.

     Shinku's POV

''Here, sit here while I get you some tea.'' I say and she nods, still looking down. I walk into the kitchen and grab two glass cups. Then I fill them with water from the cold kettle, heating them with my hand. Those filthy vampires had to make my plan work even better, sadly for her, by the loss of her own mother. Soon the others will be here and we can beat these vampires to the grimoire!

     Hana's POV

I wait for him and my eyes get heavy, my head slowly starts to fall, but his presence makes me look up. ''You're tired.'' He says and I nod taking a cup of tea from his hands. He sits next to me on the couch and I slowly drink my tea. ''Who could've done this to her?'' I ask looking up at him as if he knows. ''I don't know.'' He replies and I put my head down. ''Come.'' He says getting up. He leads me through the house and up the stairs. ''Here is my room.'' He points at an unopened door. ''And here is the guest room, where you can sleep.'' He then points to the room right across from his. Weird. Every room in the house is open, but his. I nod and peer inside, amazed by how beautiful the room really is.

''So pretty.'' I say looking at the dark purple canopy bed with black curtains, black roses in a clear vase sitting on top of a black dresser, and the dark wood that the room is made by. I peer into it's bathroom and look at the large rectangular mirror above two large black onyx sinks. I look towards the right side of the room to see a large shower and behind the sinks, a toilet with a fancy raven seat cover.

I look behind me to see Shinku. Then I look in the mirror directly at him, he smiles. He walks up behind me and looks at his own reflection. ''You didn't think I was a vampire, did you?'' He asks chuckling. I shake my head. ''Well, you never know when you're with one.'' I say giving him his own words of advise. We laugh and he walks up to the door. ''I will go, but if you need anything. Feel free to get me. After all... I won't bite.'' We laugh and I nod, looking away. I don't hear a sound of him leaving. ''Thank you, for everything.'' I quickly reply. ''You're welcome.'' He says. I quickly turn around to see he is gone. His words echo throughout the room and I look at the yet unopened door. What? Where did he go?

I get ready for bed and put on a cute black blouse and some blood red shorts. I wash my pale face and brush my long hair and fix it into a side braid. Then after I brush my teeth, I put on lip moisture. I then - satisfied, walk out of the bathroom and look at the bed. ''A beautiful Gothic dream house.'' I say reaching into my bag. I take off my pendant and put it into it's safe. Then I bury it back in the bag and get into bed. Automatic thoughts of my mother brings tears to my eyes. Oh mom! I'm so sorry. I am so so sorry. You should have never died like that. I start crying into my hands. I lean my head back against the headboard of the bed. Then I get up slowly and get out of the bed, walking towards the door. I quietly open the door and look at Shinku's room across from mine. His door is still close. I then tiptoe out of my room and peer down the stairs. No one is up. Then I look over to see a huge fancy balcony. Wow! The black iron railing curls into a fancy Victorian design. On each side sits a bouquet of blood red and black roses. I slowly walk up to the glass doors and I quietly open them slipping outside.

The cold wind hits my skin and I look up at the blackened sky. Hundreds of white stars gleam down at me. A bright crescent moon seems to brighten the world. I walk over to a small platform and sit looking at all of the trees. Hmm, weird. No other houses. The forests seem so dark and lonely from where I sit. I imagine bats flying over this huge Gothic mansion and the thought of it makes me smile. Shinku is mysteriously handsome and in some way I always know when he is near me. I imagine him standing with me looking at all of the stars, his hand intertwined with mine, his dark violet hair blowing in the direction from the wind showing his pale face, and his matching dark violet eyes falling down to look at me. I imagine myself wearing a long black flowing dress and my hair pinned back with a blood rose given to me by Shinku. I imagine us slowly leaning in and kissing. His lips so soft and his hands lightly touching my face.

I feel a presence and I quickly turn my head to see Shinku standing by the doorway wearing a black velvet long sleeved buttoned up shirt and long black pants. He looks very handsome. ''I didn't think you stayed up so late.'' He says walking up to me, I hold my breath and look back up at the stars. ''I'm sorry. I wasn't wondering the mansion, I swear!'' I say getting up and walking towards him. ''I didn't say you were.'' He says making me stop. ''No need to keep apologizing.'' He slowly replies standing by the railing.
