Run for the Shadows: Bloody Memories (VOL. 1)

Ch 13.

      ''Aww, but I made it just for you darling.'' He replies with a sad puppy face. I frown and look at the soup again. Just one bite won't hurt. He puts the spoon up to my mouth and I eat it. Once we get halfway done, he puts the spoon back up to my mouth and I go to eat it, but he moves it away. ''You'll have to work for this one.'' He says and I frown. ''What do I have to do?'' I'm craving for more food. He chuckles and puts down the bowl. His lips brush against mine and he backs away. I hunger for more food, so I push my lips against his and kiss him. He puts one hand around my neck and I kiss him for what seems like a long time before I back away.

     ''Alright.'' He says breathing heavily. He lets me eat the rest of the soup and then he goes to get up. My throat burns and my blood gets cold. ''Wait!'' I say and he stops. ''Unchain me and then I can give you what you really want.'' I say looking down at my halfway unbuttoned shirt. He smirks and flies over to the door and comes back. ''I locked it so you wouldn't get any ideas.'' He says and I nod. What am I doing? I feel like I am being controlled. My throat burns even more and I thrust my head back. He takes off the chains and I slowly stand up. I have back more energy now. I touch my dripping neck and put the red substance up to my mouth. He pins me against the wall and watches me. The smell of blood makes me crave it. I lick the blood off of my fingers and he laughs. ''Tastes good, right?'' He asks and I nod. It's sweet like honey, but I don't want my blood. His blood. I shut my eyes and slide my tongue against my sharp fangs.

       ''I'm not a human, darling!'' I mock him and he watches me. ''I open my eyes and let him see the red, he gasps. ''I want yo-'' I stop and he wraps my arms around his lower back. Then I press my face against his neck and he stops me. ''What's wrong?'' I question him and he laughs. ''You're my thrall still.'' He says and then he puts his fangs back into my neck. He drinks my blood and my throat stops burning, my blood goes back to normal, and I get weak. ''Stop.'' I say, my teeth are still there and I want blood. ''My turn.'' I press my fangs into his neck and he stops and moans. I grip his back as I start taking in his blood. My blood gets cold again. I stumble on top of him and hold him down. Once fulfilled,  I stop and fall to his side. I reach into my back pocket and find my pendant. I put it on me, but it doesn't burn. ''It's not working!'' I say and I start to cry again. ''You're already one of us.'' He smirks and he goes to put his fangs back into my neck, but I stop him. ''I'm not yours.'' I reply.

     I bust open the door and run out of the room as fast as I can. The vampires look at me. ''That's the human!'' I hear a familiar voice say. ''Get her!'' One of the vampires push me down and the one I met earlier, the one with chains pushes his fangs into my neck. He drinks and drinks. All of my energy I had once regained is gone now.

     I wake up in the same room. My pendant is still on, but my fangs are gone. It's working now. I lean my head against the cold wall and whimper. I want Kuro and Shinku with me. ''Get up.'' I hear a vampire say. It's the one with chains. I do as he says. ''Follow me.'' He says and he puts cuffs on me to keep me from using my hands. He opens the door and leads me into a hallway and into another room. ''Girls, wash her.'' He says and they nod. They both have fang marks in their neck. They're humans. One has long blonde hair and the other one has long brown hair. They are both wearing white gowns. ''Andi, are you just going to watch us?'' The brunette girl asks and he frowns ''Come here!'' He says and she walks up to him. He laughs and puts his fangs in her. She cries out and I look at the blonde haired girl who finishes unbuttoning my shirt, taking it off. ''I'll be back with Akio.'' He says eying me up and down. I cringe. ''Oh no.'' The blonde girl says and she starts moving faster. ''W-what?'' I ask and they both look at me. ''Akio is the ''seductive one''! She says and my face gets red. ''We have to hurry.'' The brunette girl replies and I nod getting into the tub. 

     The door opens and Akio comes in. I put my legs up and the girls stand in front of me. ''Why are you here?'' I ask him and he laughs. ''To get you back.'' He replies. ''You've been here for a week now.'' A week? Has it really been that long? ''No!'' I shriek and he laughs. ''P-please, just get out of here!'' The blonde girl says and he frowns. ''You think that you can just run me away like this?'' He asks and she backs up. ''N-no, I'm sorry.'' She replies and he scoffs. He disappears and then appears right behind me. His hands trail down my shoulders and back. I tremble and hug my legs, putting down my face. ''Hana?!'' Akio starts kissing my neck and then his fangs pierce into my flesh. I whimper.
