*tring*tring*tring*
A ring of a phone wakes me up. Wait. I don't have a phone then where's the sound coming from?
I sit up and spot a cellphone on top of the nightstand, besides the bed. Looks like a new one!I grab it and frown at the caller id, 'MASTER'.
"Hello, who's-" I can't even continue with my question.
"Hello, Krisie!" A guy speaks up.
"You've dialed the wrong number, I'm not Krisie." I simply reply and cut the call.
But it rang again, and again it's the same caller.
"So dear, how was your meeting with Sam?" Oh now I know who the caller is.
"We never met." I retort.
"I see, well I'm quite impressed by the sudden change. honestly you looked...hot! "
"Too bad! I never intended to impress someone, specially not you, Mr. Mark" I reply
"Yeah sure! Anyways its my number, I also saved a few important contacts." He replies.
"So you kept this phone here? Thanks my life was becoming hell without a phone." I hinestly admit it.
"You are thanking me? Well another unexpected thing from you. Nice nice keep it up you are changing." He says.
"That's because my Life is changing... how I miss them." I sigh before saying that.
"Miss whom? Your parents? Well you can simply call them now."
"I was talking about beer and my favourite pack of American Cigarettes. I miss them so much." I reply.
"Tch! You're horrible! You miss those dirty shitty addictions more than your parents?" He scolds me.
"None of your business!" I retort.
"So that's how you felt, well I didn't like the feeling." He replies.
"Atleast you got to taste your own bitter medicines for once." I use the famous phrase.
"I'm not a Chemist." He says in an innocent tone.
I groan.
"Now that's how I felt when you said you're not Krisie." He replies.
"I hate that nickname it's so childish. I told you before I prefer 'Kris'."I say in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Whatever you say, but I prefer Krisie." He exclaims.
"I'm not--" he cuts me off again.
"You know I could bicker all night but I've to run some errands. So have your dinner and have a good night my Sweet-sweet-Krisie!"
And before I can say something he cuts the call. I groan and keep the phone aside after checking the time.
9:32pm
Should I call them...Nah they would have tried to contact me. But still... I finally brush the thought off and prepare to sleep again. But was interrupted by a knock. I ask whoever it was to come in.
The door opens, revealing a lady in the same outfit as Lisa.
She smiles and asks if I want my dinner up here or downstairs along with Sam.
I take some time to reply because I don't know if I'm ready to meet him. But I think it's better than a formal meeting.
So I agree upon going downstairs.
~*~*~*~
SAM'S P.O.V.~
What? I won't be having dinner alone? Is uncle Alex here? Well that can't be, there's no car outside. I'll figure out who's it later.
I wash off the oil in my hair and after taking a quick bath I grab my favourite black Sweatshirt and a pair of cotton three-quarter pants.
I leave my specks as always and go downstairs and take my regular seat.
Soon enough a lady appears along with Maria. She is gorgeous and beautiful. She's wearing a plain gray colored T-shirt and black shorts. Her legs are so thin and sharp, damn she got huge... Oh Cr*p! Am I just checking her out? What's wrong with me?
She bows a little and speaks something to Maria before heading here! Oh God!
"May I?" She asks and I can sense a bit of uneasiness.
"U-uh sure!" Why the hell am I shuttering?
She pulls out a sit exactly across mine. I glance up at her and she immediately looks to other side,
I smirk. That means she was checking me out too. I'm not the only culprit, thank God!
There is a dead silence so I ask her, her name.
Kristine? Did I hear it before.
"Nice name, well I'm--"
"Sam, I know you're Sam. Well do you know why am I here?" She asks, cutting me.
"Let me guess, my new advisor?"
I am expecting a nod or an 'yes' rather she shakes her head side by side.
I frown.
"No I'm not, I'm your supervisor not advisor." She says.
"What's the difference?" I ask a bit confuse and in return she Smirks? What's going on?
"You'll know the difference later." She says confidently.
Soon the food is served. After having the dinner we both bid good night to each other and part our ways.
