KRISTINE'S P.O.V.
The hallway is just so chaotic! People are trampling here and there, babbling about anything and everything.
All these starts with Sam.
He had been acting strange, ever since he recovered from his first hangover. Last few days, I felt like he was avoiding me for some reasons.
But I let it go!
My biggest mistake! I turned a blind eye to his sudden ignorance. I should have asked him the reason. I should have tried to understand what was going on with him.
*Flashback*
"Hey! Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"That Sam was brought back home, while he was really drunk!"
"What? Are you serious? I never heard about Sam, drinking. Must be the bad influence of that new girl! I heard that she has a shady background!"
"God knows, what she is doing to our Sam!"
Guards are murmuring among themselves. Just then another person speaks up.
"Well! Apart from God, I also know what is Kristine doing."
"Mark! I didn't mean it th-"
One of the guards tries to explain but Mark gastures him to stop.
"And Dad himself, asked Kristine to do whatever she is doing. Maybe you didn't notice the wide-grin on his face that day." Mark says while shaking his head in a motion of disbelief.
"I know I should mind my own business, but Mark, how can you be so sure that she didn't do anything wrong with him that day?" Another guard asks.
"Oh! Believe me, that was one memorable night!"
Mark starts laughing while confusing every guard present here.
"Sam became supper romantic and supper cheesy. And who knows, if Krisie wouldn't call me on time...I could have become an uncle by now!" And he starts laughing again.
"It's nothing like that!" I finally voice up.
"Opps! You are here! I didn't know..." Mark teases me, making me roll my eyes in the process.
"Your lame jokes aside, why is Sam acting so weird?" I ask Mark.
"Wierd? What do you mean?" Finally he is back to his serious self.
"Since last week he has been ignoring me. He hardly talkes to me! Is something wrong?" I ask him, really worried about Sam.
"Might be flushed about 'that' night." Mark says jokingly while emphasizing on 'that'.
"Everything is not a joke, Mark!" I am really irritated with his silly attitude. I just turn back and go up to my room.
After some time, Mr. Swift calls everyone downstairs. Mr. Swift, Mark and a lot of guards have gathered down there. I notice that, Mr. Swift is frowning again!
Suddenly, startling everyone, the main door swings open and enter a few guards huffing-and-puffing. One of them announces something that makes me replicate Mr. Swift's frown.
"The news is true sir, Sam is missing. We searched every probable place where he could be, but we failed to find him."
"What do you mean by you failed? You are not supposed to say this! Go search for him again! Everyone go!" Mr. Swift commands the guards, while I and Mark are standing completely confused as hell!
"What is going on?" Mark asks.
"Sam is missing since morning. He is nowhere-"
"But Sam told me that he was going to the beach. He said he needed some refreshment. So let him go." Cutting Mr. Swift off, I say.
"Beach? Tim and his mates searched the beach but couldn't find him. Tim just sent me the list of places where they already searched." Mr. Swift replies.
He gastures us, me and Mark to come along into his office.
While he and Mark are busy discussing something, I remember something important. Just as I swipe the lock screen of my phone, Mr. Swift scolds me.
"We are thinking of ways to find Sam and you are busy with your phone!?"
I ignore him and continue with my work. I can hear him sigh before sitting back in his chair.
"I guess... I found him !?" I say while frowning at the phone screen infront of me.

Hello, everyone! I am back again after a long time.
I am really happy that all those hardships payed off. I passed the admission test I was referring earlier, and got admission in the desired college! Yey!!!
