CHAPTER 20

UNKNOWN P.O.V

"Edwin! You gave him a month. A freaking month!!!! Why the heck did you think I can wait for a month?" I ask.

"Why do you even need that company? Isn't our business also at the top? And even if you need a motor company there's MSC, which is quite ahead of the SOTS. So why SOTS?" Edwin questions.

"Did I ever ask you, why you joined my business and not your brother's? No, right? So don't interfere in my business." I half yell the last part.

"Our business! Let me remind you, I'm also a shareholder of what ever we have now. Everything that happens here, is my business too." Edwin retorts and I do nothing but sigh.

"Company isn't the matter." I whisper hoping for it to go unnoticed. But nothing is happening according to my wish today.

"Company is not the matter? Then what?" Edwin asks and judging by his tone, he is really serious.

"David! It's because of him.He insulted me and I won't let that go so easily. I'll destroy him, I'll kill him!" Ok! So I blurted out that I'm planning to kill his brother!

"You what? Murder-Dav- why?" Edwin is surely shocked to hell.

"You know your brother is a jerk don't you? How can you expect me to act like nothing happened? He kicked me out! Insulted me in front of everyone. I became an infamous criminal. How can you expect me to stay calm?"I defend myself.

"Do whatever you want but murder? You already have a huge criminal record, if I were you, I wouldn't even think of another murder." He replies.

"I can't stand seeing that David enjoying everything that I was supposed to have!" I yell.

"If you can't stand seeing him, then sit down." Edwin jokes.

"You think it's a joke?" I glare him.

"What else can I think when you are making it a joke? Only a fool like you does that. A fool who already has a shady background, plans to make it even more worse just because of that bit** ?" He says and that's when I loss my mind and do something, I will surely regret later.

"Hell man! You could have punched me, kicked me, but shoot? Damn, it sucks! You are insane! So damn crazy!" Edwin cries and curses in pain.

The way his shirt's left arm startes to be painted with the red liquid, it is clearly visible that I shoot him on his arm.

"I told you, not to mess with my past. You know nothing about her. Look Ed, mind your own business and stop acting like it's your first time getting shot." I say and Edwin, who has been glaring me all these time, leaves without a single word.

I really loved you Helen,but you ditched me for that stupid sh*t. I am mad at you yet I can't stand anyone cursing or saying anything bad about you. I even regret killing you but believe me, I will not think twice before killing that little piece of sh*t!

EDWIN'S P.O.V.~

He is really out of his mind, he is going to destroy everything. I have to keep an eye on him. I also don't like Dav, but that doesn't mean I'll kill him!

"Cain, I want you in my office right now!" I call Cain because he is the most eligible one for this case.

"May I come-what happened to your arm, sir?" He asks as soon as he sees my injured arm.

"Nothing much! Anyway have a seat." I wait till he makes  himself comfortable.

"Cain, I want you to keep an eye on our CEO. He is really out of his mind and might do something really stupid. Track him and if you find any of his actions suspicious, immediately report it to me." I explain him, his task.

I frown when I see a smirk curving up on his lips which soon vanishes. I would have thought that it was a hallucination if Cain's eyes wouldn't sparkle with some sort of mischievousness.

"Sure Sir! I will do as you wish but may I ask what kind of actions are termed as suspicious in this case? He asks.

"Him trying to sneak into the Swift's Mansion, following any of the residents of the mansion specially David Swift and even worse, him trying to kill David." I reply and Cain's eyes widens.

"That was so unexpected! Anyway from when shall I start?" He asks.

"Today, right after you go back to your cabin."
I reply.

"Sure, have a good say Sir and take care of your arm."

With that he leaves.

KRISTINE'S P.O.V.~

I search almost everywhere in the mansion, but can't find Sam. Damn! Where is he?

I finally choose to check the beach once. Who knows he might have gone there.

I grab my cell-phone and head downstairs. When I pass by the so called 'restricted area' I hear some noises from the opposite side of the slightly opened door.

This is a restricted area, according to what Maria told me. Only very important official meetings can take place there.

I wonder what so important is going on, in there? I slightly push the door, and peep inside.

I am expecting some round-table conference or something like that but what I see, makes me speechless...

"What are you doing here?"

I am really sorry for my late update. I was (and still am) busy with this admission test.
