(A/N: this is a universe where a Ben hadn't become famous but gained the Ultimatrix and the new Omnitrix. And this Ben is like 20).

At a restaurant down in San Francisco, Ben and the gang had went down for a vacation, the hero had been inside at a table. Recently he had a nasty break up with Kai and has been in a depression for weeks. So Kevin encouraged him to sign up for an online dating program, at suggestion Gwen kicked him in the shin for that.

But he had revealed a list of sites that have Had successful matches and was going to give those for Ben. As to right now he was waiting for his date to show up, then got a ring on his phone "hello?" He answered. "Hey Ben, did your date arrive yet?" Kevin asked over the line. "No not yet, and are your sure you got those sites right?" Ben asked, "positive man, don't go doubting me" the osmosian said.

"How did you know about these dating sites anyways?" Ben's asked "went on dates before Gwen?" "Yeah, also if some girls come by asking for my name tell em I got lost in the Amazon" Kevin said before hanging up. Ben did the same "better hope Gwen didn't hear hi..." he was cut off when he heard the sound of Kevin screaming like a girl like he was getting beaten up by Gwen.

"Go figure, she found out" Ben said, just then a voice spoke to him "excuse me". Looking to the source he saw a tall girl with black hair wearing a light blue shirt with a dark blue sweater vest and blue jeans. "Are you B10Tennyson? I'm JadeC13" she said "oh good to meet you the name's Ben Tennyson" Ben said offering a handshake.

"Good to meet you Ben, my name is Jade Chan, sorry if I was late I was handling some work that couldn't be put off" she explained. "Not to worry we've all been there" Ben replied as they both sat down, "it's kinda regarding work, well actually it's because of my uncle" she added.

"I can relate, my Grandpa Max kinda hid a big secret from us for the longest time" Ben said, "what is it with the oldest relatives being able to hide secrets the easiest?" Jade asked. "Looking inconspicuous is one thing" Ben said as they both laughed, "so Jade what are your interests?" Ben asked.

"Well, I like to travel and train in martial arts" Jade answered "well I may not look it but I can throw down." Ben said "ooh I'd like to see that" she replied purring a little, after a long dinner the two decided to leave.

"That was some good food" Jade said "you said it" Ben replied, Jade then looked at her watch. "Oh man" she groaned "what's wrong?" He asked, "oh it's just that it's like really late and my car is in the shop right now so I had to take the bus here, and since everyone in this town's asleep I can't get home" Jade explained.

"Well that's not good" Ben commented "and my home is on the other side of town, I hate to ask but... mind if I stay with you tonight? Just until tomorrow" Jade asked "I don't see why not, I wouldn't mind helping you out" Ben said before they walked to the hotel his family was staying at.

At sight Jade whistled "wow nice place" she complimented before they entered their room. "Hey guys" Ben greeted "Hey Ben, did your date go well?" Gwen asked "Well funny you should mention that... and Rook mind putting on your ID mask?" He whispered the last part.

The alien then put on the mask and had gained a human appearance, Ben the lead Jade in. "Hello there, I'm Jade Chan, Ben was nice enough to let me stay until I can get home tomorrow. I hope you don't mind me being here" Jade said bowing. "Couldn't wait for a few dates so you took her home already? Smooth Tennyson" Kevin said earning another Kick to the shin By Gwen.

"Ignore him, we don't mind at all" Max said, "thank you, I owe you all one" Jade said. An hour later the two were seen out on the hotel balcony, everyone was already out. "So what do you think?" Ben asked "about your family or our date?" Jade asked, "the second one" he replied, she looked to the horizon "well, to be honest, I think that date went great. Honestly I can see we have some stuff in common Ben, so. If you want, can we go out?" She asked.

Ben smiled "if you want, thanks for the chance Jade" Ben said wrapping a hand around her waist. "I hope you could bear with my life though, it's kinda hectic" Jade said, "you haven't known hectic until you lived my life" Ben joked as they both laughed.

The two leaned against each other, "Hey Ben" she said he was about to respond when she kissed him on the lips. At first the shapeshifter was shocked but he just let it happen and kissed back. "Thought you'd never ask" he said kissing her cheek.
