He stepped out of the van, a straight jacket on, and an evil grin plastered on his face. I looked at my clipboard and read that he was Ashton Irwin, a 19 year old from Sydney, Australia. He had commited numerous murders throughout Australia, and that's why he was here at the New York Insane Asylum. He went on trial but he pleaded insanity, and they sent him here to America because he'd escaped all the facilities in Australia.
He walked up to me and looked down at me. He was approximately six or seven inches taller than me. Yes, I was quite short but trust me, I wasn't intimidated. I had faced way worse criminals than this guy.
"So I take it your Liza?" He asked me as he looked me up and down, that stupid grin still on his face.
"First of all, eyes up here please, and second, yes I am Liza. When you get inside I will show you to your room and read you your schedule which is what you will do every day while you are here." I turned my back on him and walked inside. I led him to his "room" which had a small bed and concrete walls.
"Wow nice place." Ashton said as he came into the room. The guards with him removed his straight jacket and pushed him so he was sitting on the bed and I was near the door.
"Ok so you will have breakfast at 8 a.m, group therapy session at 10 a.m, lunch at 12, and recreational time from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Then personal therapy session. Ok." I turned around to leave when I felt a hand on my arm.
"You will be mine," he whispered as I pulled my arm away and walked out of the room. I punched in the lock code on the door and I saw him looking up at the ceiling with that same stupid smile on his face.
He is a murderer, but I had to say he was kind of cute, and he was my age, but no. Not going to happen. No way am I his.
I walked to the front office and went into my dad's office. I plopped down into one of the chairs and got out my phone playing a game.
"So how was the new arrival?" my dad asked me as I continued to play my game.
"He was kind of strange. And I know all the people in here and strange but he was more than usual." I explained to my dad. I also told him about how Ashton said that I would be his.
"Liza, I want you to stay away from that boy. He is very dangerous and I don't want you getting hurt." My dad was really protective of me but I think I could handle it. I mean, I had to handle a lot of danngerous and insane people and he didn't seem as harmful to me.
