"Hey Ash. It's time for breakfast!" I yelled as I went into his room to hopefully wake him up. He rolled on his side and moaned, obviously not wanting to get up.
"Why do I have to get up? Can't I sleep for like 2 more hours?" He groaned as he covered his head again with the blanket.
"Fine I guess I'll just leave and I won't ever come back....." I said as I slowly turned around and made my way towards the door.
I heard Ashton jump up from his bed and he ran to come and grab my arm. "I'm up I'm up just please don't ever say that again." He looked as if he was going to cry so I opened my arms and let him nuzzle his head into the crook of my neck.
"Ash you know I was kidding I would never leave you." I rubbed his back hoping to make him feel better. I could hear little sobs coming from him as he cried on my shoulder.
He pulled back from my embrace and wiped his eyes with his sleeve. "I believe you. But don't scare me like that ever again." His voice was stern and he got a serious look on his face.
"I promise I won't. But come on, we have to get you to breakfast." I grabbed his hand and hid it behind my back so no other guards or patients could see. He looked down at me with a small smile.
"Holding hands now are we? First base is achieved." That stupid smirk back on his face.
"Don't even think about it Ash." I laughed as we walked into the cafeteria.
